I havent used the Europe maps, but only because I have the full Euro countries databases..
-
Do you mean he stole them? or they were stolen from him?
My dad, either the capri, or the 70's pontiac he had...
-
I actually thought it was pretty good- okay the ending was a little too cheesy, and they did do the 'predictable' female empowerment...
But all in all, amusing sci-fi and if anything, just as tongue in cheek as the old ones... but better...
-
yeah, that was hard, not quite as hard as the 25 laps of the ring in a standard pre-1970 car though :shutit:
-
yeah, there are a few ways to 'make up' the cash - but you dont need to..
If you just work through the game (using the prize cars) you will find you can progress AND gain money...
I'm up to about 1.5million, and not re-run any race yet! (but have done some of those suggested above)..
oh, and thanks for the R32 tip - that will do nicely for the Euro hot hatch..
Oh, and my tip - win the lightweight K cup in beginners, you get a ginetta G4 - take this to the Euro 1000 race - spec B race it - you get a huge sum and a nice alfa you can sell for a nice little profit ;)
-
well yes, you have to tell him when to pit - but thats only every 10~15 mins - fine when your working from home ;)
As for telling, well the more he races, the better he gets, and unless you try, you wont know ;)
-
B-spec is great, i can do the endurance races while working ;)
and frml - look in Status, it tells you the skill of your driver there ;)
-
im at about 22%, and for me, half the game is 'working towards' the big supercars.. barely winning races and scraping together cash for mods..
-
Hi and welcome to the club...
erm, I don't want to put you on a downer, but my 2000 X with 40K on the clock is worth somewhere around 9K... so I think you paid slightly over the odds for that, but as long as your happy ;)
-
well i now have over 1 trillion credits and am in possession of every car i have ever dreamed of -
fav at mo is the maclaren SLR fully tuned its running at over 800bhp and can barely go in a straght line!
as for the 157bhp IS200 i was soooo apauled, did every possible mod to it and the bugger was still the slowest car in the "beginner" class of FR cars!
more importantly though...
What % completion do you have???
and Mitch - I have no idea?
-
Got this on sunday, very cool..
oh, and whoever keeps talking about 'cheating', why spend £30 on a game to then go and ruin the whole point in it??? some people eh??
As for a quick review:
UI - new interface, takes a little getting used to, but not bad - races spread all over the place
Graphics improved
Racing similar
modifiying similar, although add NOS and meccano spoiler (someone been watching NFSU)
Car selection - huge, and nice to see used cars back!
Tracks - new and old - great!
-
Where have you got your information? As far as I know, there is no IS350 confirmed as yet??
-
happy birthday - what can i say, the Internet isnt as efficient as it used to be ;)
-
Just seen a TV advert for the new GS over here in the US, its main focus was the availability of 'all wheel drive', which would explain why they were powersliding it around a snowy forest track...
The advert looked good, but one thing that caught my eye was.... it showed the driver shifting manually!!!
Does this mean the new GS will have the option of a manual box!
-
I cant help Chris, I always stand by the fact that selling a modified car is harder than a standard one - your market is smaller, and unless you've got something unique/special you wont make more than list price..
I'd say take off the charger and sell that seperatly and then sell your car, you'll probably make a bit more then.
-
Matt, from what I know (which isnt a lot) you need to drop the wheel completley down, which i suppose you could do on the road with a trolley jack - but me, i'd want it done on a ramp...
-
-
i'm really sorry to hear this!!!
what is the world coming to!!
-
well, now I have had the chance to look at the pictures fully (no longer dial-up) and read the upcoming specs, well, I'm impressed with what it has..
As for the looks, i like it more than i did yesterday, so its probably a grower...
But, ill wait to see it in the flesh (and blue) before passing judgement...
-
I think its a resounding 'meh' from me...
but i will reserve full judgement until i see it in the flesh..
-
-
be nice to have a nice decent Trip computer thingy..
-
at the moment its got
minus- 220bhp
the engines out, the replacement engine is at TDI, as is the new gearbox
Hey Mat and Mark - just wanted to say Happy 2nd Birthday! :)
I noticed the thread started 2 years ago on this day, and I have to say that keeping this thread alive and updated has been brilliant - its certainly kept people entertained and given us something to look forward too over the last 24 months.
I hope and look forward to seeing the monster fully sorted at JAE this year (fingers crossed) - as does everyone I'm sure. :)
Its going to be a shame when the monster is finally finished and this saga is going to come to an end..
-
I'm sure you've all seen at least the adverts for Channel 4's barrage of 'Top 100' programs, in which, apparantly, the general public have voted for their favoraite..
