C'mon you moderators; wouldn't you say that this thread has run it's BORING course?

Leave the guy alone, you dont have to read this thread if you dont want...

Personally im not a Ford person but im with Pete on this one i wouldnt knock a cossie or even the older M2 escort twin carb/crossflow, pure adrenalin rush :D :D ...you would have to have driven one to appreciate it :winky: .......Anyways....back on topic the new Audi S4 has a nice dual zorst, looks better than the Mondeo :)
yeah, I have to say I was thinking more of the S4 than the mondeo when i said 1 pipe either side...

link doesnt work - not that I cant guess the story...
and it does make you wonder what a world we live in?
-
Yeah - it just seems like a gimmick to me - I think i'll stick with air...

It could be your tweeter has shorted - the amp has a short-safe feature..
I had this happen to me, and after a couple of weeks the fault was narrowed to a blown tweeter that had shorted out.

your PC should come with 'Paint'
Just open the photo with that, select 'Image' from the top menu, and stretch skew.
Then you can change the size via the % boxes. (eg 50% will make it half size).
Just save and voila ;)

I prefer dual, one either side, but not hipers - for me Peco's would work nicer... but i like the sutble look.

Thanks for all the replies...
Matt, I did actually move to a lower-cost area a few years ago (from Reading) in an attempt to out-manovere the market, and failed. As for a different location or house, well my job doesnt make that practical.
Peter, thanks for the link, and Mark for the advice coupled to it...
oh and Mark, if these friends are ever feeling charitable... ;)

Hey all - apologies for the 'off topic' post, but as LOC is a wealth of knowledge and opinions, I was hoping you could help with my decsion making...
Following the 'boom' in the housing market, for the last couple of years, I have been 'running trying to catch up', never quite being able to afford the house I have needed...
So, in 03 I decided that bust follows boom - and being a first time buyer it would make more sense for me to wait for it to inevitably drop and buy...
However, my patience is being tried - and although the market here flattened off towards the second half of last year, all that has happened is the prices have 'dipped'.
Now, ive been looking into things, and if I morgaged myself to the hilt - I could just about afford the size house I need (not want though) - but I would hate to buy a house and next year it be worth 25% less...
So, I ask for advice, on what you think I should do...

Happy Birthday!

I'm about 55% through...
Have the F1 car, not to mention a nice 89 Toyota 'Sports Car' among others...
-
apparantly there is a holiday inn around Clifton moor - or a travelodge on the A64..
-
very close to the 'in-laws'... I will ask for you tonight Paul...
-
no...
This is nothing new - all aftermarket parts should have a 'E' stamp to be legal now anyway... including lights/bodykits etc...
and you think your MoT station will crawl over the car looking for E marks?

I think the major milestones were 2000, 2002 and 2004 for upgrades..
a '99 could be yours for about £7k, up to £19k for a year old minter...
It all comes down to what you want to spend? but they are very reliable, predictable, not to mention as at home on a twisting B-road as a motorway cruise...
-
yeah - the IS values have been dropping like stones over the last couple of years, mainly due to an increase in sales (thanks to special offers and newspaper adverts)...
It just means there are a lot of used examples about - something that effects value...
-
I always said I should've been a plumber...
good luck mate...
-
dunno, but I was in Liverpool the other week and I didnt feel safe to leave the car anywhere so I went somewhere else
no offence to liverpudlians
I'm a scouser mate - I took no offense, as its true.
But - Liverpool is no worse than any other city. There are areas where you do not want to leave your car, and areas that are nicer.
We about where you mate?
I agree, i was driving through Bristol the other day and felt like a wilderbeast that had strayed into the middle of a pack of lions....
-
no - just external HDD...
I know it will make a bootable CD for disaster recovery though...
-
What about retrospect??
I use that as my backup/disaster recovery..

I had the first one on the PS2 - and as much as it was a good game, i found it got very frustrating towards the later levels - not allowing for flexibility in solving the problems...
