I was actually looking for any info on converting a single into a double - like you saying the single needs knocking down first..

well that is up ere in Yorkshire anyway, talking to estate agent about a year ago and value of house either increase's 5k with a garage or decreases 5k (thats with a single garage) without.

Builder accross road from me was going to build me a singel garage next to my other one for 3k, hope this helps ya :)

while browsing the Lexus site, looking at the new IS250, I noticed, that the LS430 used prices have dropped, so you can pick up a reasonable mileage 2001 for 20k...

Which is a hella lot of car for the money.

Thinking back a few years to when i drove one on the OpenRoad event, it blew me away, not just with its 'waft', but also its pace, and I couldnt believe how nimble it was, especially for its size...

Throw in all the equipment (including sat nav, massaging rear seats) and even for a 4 year old car, its impressive...

Of course, the downsides are, its a big car (would it fit in the garage i wonder - doubtful), and thirsty.. (what is a realistic MPG?)

So that just leaves running costs, such as servicing etc? Can anyone shed any light on this?

Mr Morse - find a trusted local guy and stick with him. See if you can have a look at his workmanship and if the price seems fair... Go with it.

Heard nothing but good from Eclipse

i went with Plus.net - not too bad, occasionally the connection drops though (connection, not line).. and i have to force a reconnection

I cant give you exact, but expect it to be around 10k+...

Okay... heres a q...

I know all about Shazam etc - being able to get the name of songs through your mobile, there are a ton of sites that do lyric searches...

BUT...

I remember a song from the 80's, I think it was adam ant, and im certain the chorus was the word 'Amadao' (or something) repeated over...

so... anyone got any wonderful ideas how i could find out what this song was?
