As has been said, it contains a nasty worm, and got past my virus scanner and is embedded in a volume drive, thankfully not my primary (i never have C as my primary drive) but this is hazardous!!!!!

of course you were scared... the chassis on those things could only ever cope with the 1.9 - anything bigger and you could flex the whole body with a twitch of the right foot!

to be honest, its one of the things i love about TVR's - no driver aids, its just you and the car...

but you have to drive them completley differently, with all these computers looking after us, a lot of drivers have lost their respect for cars and what they can do...

never click a link - always use the banks address directly (or a favorite) and never call a number provided in emails/web - always go through numbers provided by your bank in mailings etc..

okay, i've just seen a car advertised as having a 'cat D repaired front end'...

it says the engine is sound, and it was just bodywork... and lets say the asking price is about 40% off normal...

So.... what actually is cat d? considering the car any engine damage could be problematic...

also, would it be increased insurance for the cat d?

by the way - i figured out where the bridge was - there is a junction off the main freeway thats always blocked with roadworks, so i headed up there, and was pretty close when i hit 5 mins, and sure enough, just head up there and voila!

but not any chase, no, your level 6 with everyone after you - and all the normal tricks dont work... it seems when you get to 5 minutes (if you can) Mia calls and says something about a bridge, but just after that you meet an unmovable roadblock...

Are Boxters down to 15k yet?

There's a Y plate on Fleabay for just over 15k - seems a bit odd though as there are w and x reg's on there for 17k plus.

Only prob for me is that they're 2.7 litre which considering the fact that I only live 2 1/2 miles from work is pretty pointless.

The insurance is pretty good though, it's about the same as an Audi TT.

actually, at 15k it'll be a 2.5, they didnt bring in the 2.7 until 02/03 (i think), of course you really dont want either of those...

the 'S' is a 3.2 with a 6-speed box, and for a grand or two extra you get a lot more car, and the insurance isnt all that much higher...

Of course, and 15k, you could get a very nice 964 911, as long as its been looked after, should be pretty reliable ;)

yeah, the bottom has fallen out of the sports car market... you just need to trawl the private sales ads to see porsches and tvr's going for rock bottom prices - either that, or they just attract no interest..

(i recently saw a 2000 Chimera 4.0 with 40k go for £10k)...

Its a combination of increased personal debt, a general slow down in spending, connected to a lot of spending over xmas, alongside increase in fuel prices with uncertainty for the future...

if your looking to buy something a touch older thats fast and uneconomical - now is the time to grab a bargin!
