Picked up my new car today... :D

Still have the IS200 though - although I have had some interest from Autotrader, although i figure it wont cost me much to run it for the next 6-12 months, so i might just hang onto it to offset the fuel costs of the new car!

Sorry - i had my top replaced for another top - so no help there - they did change the amp too...

In all honesty i dont know.. i think if you change the amp as well you should be able to do it?

They used to be an authorised trader on here.

I know some people got some good service, and IIRC there were a couple of complaints against them also.

well, considering what im getting next - it was intended as a replacement all-rounder - but the IS would be much more sensible for day-to-day and work journies...

Considering how much ive recently spent on it, i might just speak to the insurance company tomorrow - after all, if a seperate limited mile policy isnt much more than the increase it might make sense - since its only going to cost me road tax in the next 12 months..

yeah, its not a good used car market at the moment...

almost tempted to keep it and run 2 cars!

to be honest, revving a car to the redline/limiter quite frequently would consitute 'thrashing' IMO - i mean, we all do it time to time, and thats okay - but if you did it everyday, or when the engines cold, then its thrashed..

What have you got to replace it?

Well the IS went in Autotrader today, so i have taken off the HKS box to replace it with the standard one - to make the car appeal to a wider audience.

What a difference it made!

The car still was as smooth and nice as ever, but it was so quiet, and i missed that growl so much...

I just went to Argos and bought a Fellows for around 35.

3 yr waranty and works well.

i've had a fellows for about 5 years without any problems.

The Evo needs servicing every 4500 miles...

The M3 recently had its extended warranty cost go from 700 a year to 2k because 'the M cars cost more to fix'

tony, i agree with what you've said, problem is it's not that hard to spoof your IP addy - especially for those in the know.

they'll get their come-uppance at some point!

I agree the IP can become invisible...... but it leaves shadows for those in the know :winky: Once we confirm the IP we will 'EXPOSE' this ***** for all to throw stones at!

As Tony and Fluffy mentioned there are many ways of making a 'spoof' IP address, so just because it was hidden, doesnt mean it is genunie...

I'd just be very careful before pointing the finger..
