  1. Cheers guys, I have tried the twist system but not working, this should not happen to all three of them, mainly because the two in the back are not being used.
  2. I tried to use the above point, for my dash cam,but with no luck, so I used the lighters, and all that happened was they didn't stay in at all--next step was to check the fuse box under the bonnet, there are 3x15Amp fuses to choose from,so I changed all of them and tried the dash cam/lighters again. Nothing worked, can anyone help me out with this problem---Please
  3. I had the same problem a few weeks ago, so I bought some bushes for the anti roll bar and had my local garage fit them, he put some grease on the T bar, now no more squeaks.
  4. Malcolm---- The sign is by the side of the car wash, Stuart----The 2nd set of wires are for the smaller indicator The large one indicates to the front, the smaller one indicates at a slight angle to the left -so that when you come to a junction, other traffic can see you turning.
  5. This is the final answer from Morrisons
  6. Denis: Lexus don't have this type of lights as they were made in theU.S.A.
  7. Hello Stuart: yes I have been onto EBay U.S.A.No results,I then phoned the firm I got them from in 2012 their reply is they no longer have them in stock, Some of the items on EBay are not the same as mine. so it looks like I have had it.
  8. Thank all of you for your contributions, Phil, the Poppy was safe, Lee ,Morrison's haven't got back to me since Thursday,Steve, yes I do have the original indicators, I might get them out of their boxes and put them on. Cheers Guys.-- Norman.

  10. Cheers John: they were secure as I said before they came from the U.S.A. I have just researched, I bought them---6th Jan 2012,now I am trying to see if I can get a new one,----I have been onto the Police about what happened, they told me that the car isn't road legal, if I drive the car and I am pulled up by a police car I could be looking at 6points on my License----no thanks
  11. Hello Lee: No the lights were solid no idea how the machine done the damage----the big problem is the indicators were bought from the u.s.a also the slot they fit into has also been damaged.
  12. As the above title says--I went to the local Morrisons to get the Lexi-400 washed, everything seemed o.k. until I drove out. They are taking their time getting back to me, Photographs were taken a claim form was filled in by the manager, all my details were taken so-on +so-on, when you see the pics --- don't do what I done NO more car washes the small piece was found on the floor in the car wash
  13. Cheers Guys : I will try the Lithium grease and see what happens
  14. The front suspension is making a noise when I go over any bumps, this only happens when the weather is hot like yesterday and it has been standing outside for a while. I have heard that by using a spray on grease will stop this, what type is the best to use and what joints do I spray.
  15. I went to France a couple of weeks ago, drive down to Dover on the Sunday and spend the night in Premier,-the drive was o.k. until we were going through the town and then disaster. The rear offside tyre went flat I pulled into a bus stop got the pump and inflated it, and drove up to the Premier, took out our overnight gear booked in and went back to the car--tyre flat again. pump out inflate again, after a couple of HRS check again---flat. Had a word with the receptionist and she phoned a firm in the town, they couldn't come until Monday--They came at around 8-30 had a look at the tyre and said it was knackered the rim had done damage to the tyre wall.(The car has L.P.G.) in the wheel well NO SPARE IN THE BOOT----. The car was put on a recovery truck and taken to their depot--now the problem starts the tyre is a (225-60-16) he tried many tyre depots they all said the tyre was bigger than any they had in stock!!! The only place to get one was from a depot in FELIXSTOWE, it was put on a delivery van doing it's rounds and it would arrive at KWICK FIT in 4 HOURS) the next problem is our Ferry, the time now is 10am the boat sails at 12pm so I phoned D.F.D.S. and they said if I miss the 12pm boat we can go on the 2pm one if we miss that one we can go on the 4pm boat yippee, any way the tyre arrived at 4-20 pm. too late for the 4pm boat--- D.F.D.S. again that's O.K. you can go on the 6pm boat but it will cost another £54 on top of the £ 104 I had paid.. In Total --Ferry £158---Kwik Fit---£69-99---Tow truck---£84 ALL in ALL £311--99 Lesson to learn Take a spare with you...
  16. I use a firm in Tarvin (Tarvin Garage Services L.T.D.) never had any problems with them -maybe you should give them a try, and their labour charge is lower than Lexus.
  17. I had incident with Lexus Chester which cost me "Thousands of pounds" since then I don't use them anymore.
  18. I had the same problem on my 97/400 the whole mirror was damaged works and all, I went local lexus for info, they tried to find one for me but nothing available in the U.K. so the next step was Lexus in Japan, as my car was a 97 model they had to make a new one, because of the age they had finished that style anyway they made one for me and sent it to lexus in E.Port ----cost £400 a bit expensive but who cares.
  19. I agree with The-Acre you can get the silicone on the bay---- are you sure you have the right car?
  20. I had the same problem with the N.S.mirror the whole thing was smashed, because of the year 97,couldn't get a decent replacement, now comes the expensive bit a new one to fit a 97 model was ordered from "Lexus Japan" which took a month they made a new one for me,photochromic, new gears the whole lot, total £400. Just a bit expensive but I think it was worth it.
