  1. From what I could find: Front shock absorber: 48510-59365 Front coil spring: 48131-30130 Rear shock absorber: 48530-59415 Rear coil spring: 48231-50170 To double check you can find most part numbers on www.toyodiy.com
  2. Any specific part of the suspension in mind? Else it will be a lot of part numbers.
  3. What's the point of anything? This is just about having some fun in a big V8. No animals were harmed during filming :)
  4. I thought it was impressive too. I reckon it's harder to drift the Ls than the mx5. Like throwing an ocean liner around the corner :)
  5. A friend of a friend on Facebook drifting his mk3 ls400 :)
  6. yes, we best prepare ourselves for the coldest winter in 100 years. Like every year :)
  7. And when they changed the part number, they put the price up as well.
  8. Thanks :) It's funny how a lot of the 89422-30030 are advertised to fit the '89 to '00 LS400, yet the 89422-20010 only seems to fit up to 1997
  9. Sorry to revive an ancient thread, but is this part number the same for my '99 Celsior (assuming the same parts are used for the mk4)
  10. The aircon cleaners I have used have the following instructions. Put front seat forward, engine on, aircon to cold and full fan speed, place cleaner behind front seat and switch on. Close all doors and let can run till empty, open all doors to air out and Bob's your uncle
  11. Sounds like an earth problem. Check all earth points for corrosion or loose connections. This doesn't apply for the heater though. Is there enough coolant in the system? Does the car take long to reach operating temp?
  12. I know that car. Owned by Christine Balfour from down under :) There was one for sale in Glasgow with a similar kit a few months ago.
  13. Ah well but I might be in the '99 Celsior. Still old just not that old :)
  14. Just 1 Ls400 Pete :) Brian drives a Ls460. 460 vs 400 - Who will have the most damage? :)
  15. Personally I think it's a myth or maybe that was the case years ago. Modern winter tyres are just as quiet as summer tyres and won't affect fuel consumption Example. Dunlop Sp Sport summer 69Db Dunlop Sp Winter sport 68Db
  16. Ah Cameron House is about 10 minutes from me. I use the A82 a LOT so you can easily run into me :)
  17. It sure is Brian. Our house is only a 30 second walk away from the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond :)
  18. Unfortunately no garage and the mrs no longer drives due to health issues...
  19. Indeed the nearest Waitrose is 20 minutes away in Helensburgh :) There are at least 3 Ls400s in Argyll - 2 of them are mine :) EDIT: Make that 4 LS400s. There's another member from Argyll on here.
  20. Yes I know there is some dust on the CC screen :)
  21. Waitrose huh? try driving it to Aldi tomorrow :)
  22. Finally finished the Celsior climate and stereo. Bought a Climate Control unit from Yahoo Auctions Japan. Auction won at 4000 Yen (£22 ish) Then add Agent fees, shipping and customs and the total came to just over £100. Small price to pay to have heat and freezing cold again :) Then I was left with no stereo so decided to buy a double din app unit. With DVD, GPS etc etc. Got a double din fascia from Fleabay Mono amplifier bought as the stock won't work with aftermarket unit 8 inch Kicker comp sub bought to replace the stock one. Fitted it all today with the new amp underneath the driver's seat just like the stock amp. Driver's seat had to come out, rear seat (base and back) had to come out. A lot of work, but worth it in the end :) I'll take a pic tomorrow so show the unit in the dash.
  23. If I wasn't all the way up in Scotland, it would have been at my house yesterday!!
