The paint codes appear to be the same, mine is 923 Lexus Dark Silver but has the slightly darker lower sections.

This is what my paint shop guy gave me.

Below is a link for all the 2018 colour codes.

The other alternative is to visit one of the professional paint suppliers who will generally match the paint colour either with charts or electronically and then make a touch up for you.

Thanks for the reply Steve, I have took Rayaans advice and ordered Mercury Grey from eBay, it was just £14 with p&p so fingers crossed.

Hello LenT. You're correct. The choice is budget based. They are quite pricey.

Hi Frank, I've owned both a mk2 and a mk3 with the V6 engine, I think the mk3 looks fantastic and handles a little better, it's the one to go for if you can stretch your budget.

    This was mine.

the plugs could be changed in  a short while

    a de-coke was performed every 10,000 miles and,and,and

You sound the same age as me John, dad had a 1946 Hillman Minx it had semaphores and a opening windscreen and doors hinged on the B pillar, didn't do a de-coke but remember buying pads and a bag of copper rivets and fixing them to the old brake shoes.

This is, fortunately or unfortunately, just how the Lexus brand works in Europe.

Essentially they give your four or five set packs/trims and you decide. The advantage from their point of view is it is easy to plan the vehicles, administer shipment and so on; the disadvantage is the lack of choice. That said, at least it is fairly clear what precisely you are getting (and this applies also if you are buying used).

Ian, I think it's time you corrected your " Year of Lexus ", 2013 is the date of your IS 300h.
