Hey people.
I've had this problem with the remote since new, the reception on it is terrible. It has a new Battery in it but that's not improved it at all. Is there anything I can do (other than get a new one!) that will fix it? It's the black one with no key on it. I might have a go at the reset thing, but I don't want to kill the key completely.
Thanks

Have you tried Seatwave? www.seatwave.com
Might be worth a look... :)
Thanks mate, but no such luck :(
Cheers anyway :)

Hi guys,
Trying to source a birthday present for that special someone. All of her mates are going to a Sugababes concert (shudder) on the night of her birthday, and she only just found out. Does anyone here know where I can get a ticket for her to go on the 12th May?
I've looked everywhere and had no luck.
Many thanks

Hmm, I build computers and sometimes get faults like this with power buttons with users (or in your case, the engineer) being too heavy handed. It may have just come past its 'stop'. There's a chance that giving it a good push will get it back behind the clip, however it may also damage the switch. It's up to you if you do this or not.

Right, would a Lexus dealer do this? My dad is not at home much (3 days every 2 weeks) so it's not really something we would have time to do. I try to help him out where I can but I think this is a bit out of my league! 16 year old + car electronics is a bad idea!
Depending on who uses the account, it'll be either BigM (Mark) or BigD (Dave, the father :D)

Down to 97.9 up here for regular Shell.
Looking good!

Something to try might be a ECU reset. Might cure it.

Should imagine so if you ask him.

What is it with covering everything these days? I love being able to open the bonnet and see how it works, not a big swarm of plastic...

Hey people.
The GS is doing fine and being loved much, however, it would be nice to have all of the lights working on the rear spoiler. Out of the 30 or so LEDs, about 15 look as if they are working. Is it possible to replace the light strip on the spoiler? I can't find any obvious way of getting it off..
Thanks

Strange, his first Lexus GS was N reg, had it before the C5, and had remote locking on the side of one of the keys, just one button on the key.
Was at an optional extra?

Hey guys!
My dad has just bought a 96 1st gen GS 300 sport, but it's missing the key with the remote central locking on. Having just sold his Citroen C5 (*shudder*) that cost him over £90 for a new key, and to have it coded to the car etc, how much is a Lexus one? He's hoping it's not quite as bank breaking as that...
Many thanks
