    It does sound like a dealer misunderstanding, looking at some later washer jets but not late enough. The early IS200s had dual jets, then later they had triple jets, then finally the fan jets came in. The correct part number is definitely the 53070 one, that's what I got.

    I (naively ?) assumed that because the bulb comes in a special holder, it would have to be specifically from Toyota/Lexus. If you can get the bulb elsewhere then that's great ! Does it come in the holder from motor factors, or did you get the bulb and then swap it over into the existing holder ?

    The manual transmission on the IS200 has different capacities according to the official data sheets depending on model year, no idea why though :duh: e.g. 1999 is 1.8l, 2000/1 is 1.95l, 2002/3/4 is 2.0l. None of them are 2.2l as far as I can see.

    The bulb will be different depending on whether it's the one for the illumination of the switch (always on when lights or on), or the one that lights up when you press the button (i.e. to show that the seat heater is on).

    You'll need to get the bulb from Lexus/Toyota. It's very small so they should be able to post it out to you, I would have thought. Try phoning your dealership and asking.

    Is your IS200 pre-update or post-update in 2001 Stav ? Mine is 1999. I assume your IS300 would be different from mine Dino. Just wondering if your dome light will be the same (i.e. size) as mine Stav ?

    Toyota call it "Silver Metallic", at least that's what it says on my touch-up kit. But yes, it's the same as Aido said, it has the same code of 1C0.

    ok, cool, thanks. I will check out my dome light and measure to see how much room is in there. The seller has different versions of different sizes, so I should be able to find one that fits :D
