  1. The regulations for displaying a plate are here. The font is a fixed one, and there are also fixed sizes for the characters - all in that leaflet :winky:
  2. Where did the kit get shipped from though ? Was it direct from TTE, or did the guy in Germany have possession of them, or did Dave have them ? I suspect that when Dave bought them they stayed in Germany and he never saw them, though I could be wrong.
  3. I'll have to wait till a bit later on ! :winky:
  4. I just installed LED eyebrows on my car. Yes, I know this is something you probably either love or hate. I used to hate them but then I changed my mind and am trying them out ! I have posted up a walkthrough over in the Workshop section, here. Any comments, especially if you think any bits are unclear/wrong, are appreciated.
  5. So he really wanting 4k for Blitz charger then, s/hand to :o you need to find out the price of Blitz charger new £3,662.38 for a new Blitz charger, assuming they're actually available.
  6. £4,500, but "unkown" mileage :duh: according to Prolex's site.
  7. According to Prolex, the 3S-GE with Blitz charger should do 250/265 bhp. I've no idea how accurate/realistic that is, but I don't have cause to doubt it, given that the stock engine does 210 bhp.
  8. There's an excellent guide to changing front discs and pads here.
  9. I don't think there's a minimum size for the plate, but the lettering (font) has to be a specific size. So if you had a number plate like, say, "LEX 1", then you could have a smaller plate that just contained that reg without all the extra space at each end. What sort of thing were you thinking of ?
  10. Should be ok if you raise the rear wheels off the ground and just tow it with the front wheels turning, as SINGH182 said, surely ? But this is risky obviously and means you have to make sure you know which are the driven wheels ! (Mr breakdown recovery man might make a guess and get it wrong !)
  11. Unfortunately I think they're right, it looks like there's just one part for the headlamp levelling switch. Might be worth trying to get one from a breaker's ?
  12. Isn't that the same though, you shouldn't push it either, e.g. push-starting an auto ?
  13. I could be wrong, but I think Aztec's price for his stuff probably was just for the piping/tubing, and you'd have to add on the price of an Apexi filter or similar. So it's still a more expensive solution (though more blingy !) than a K&N. I've got a K&N too. Similarly to kam05 I think it made a slight improvement to my mpg and a slight difference to engine note. I don't think I'd say I particularly noticed any performance improvement, but then again I didn't expect to.
  14. The standard MR2 turbo would appear to give 242 BHP according to Wikipedia. According to Yeldarb's post back here, the boost is going to be cranked up (though still staying at a "safe" level) and there will be various tuning carried out, de-catted, etc, which I'm guessing TGT feel confident will give them roughly 300 BHP (they do have a lot of experience with this particular engine).
