  1. Maybe someone with a standard car with stratospheric mileage which is still going strong ? Think there are plenty of those on here. Would have thought that would be a good message to send out about how long the cars can last.
  2. I'd love to know how high the earliest non-Sport models are ! Anyway, I'm excited, 'cos look what I've got : Yep, it's a set of TTE lowering springs ! :D Currently arranging to get them fitted, hopefully it will be pretty soon !
  3. Yep, if he made something up to try and mislead the stewards then that was very, very silly. I guess he's still a very young guy and perhaps still has some growing up to do.
  4. Awesome ! :D Looks like you need to make yourself another engine cover now !
  5. I *think* you have to take off the a/c and alternator belts before you can get to the power steering belt. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. rig-pig did a walkthrough on changing the drive belts here, but unfortunately the pictures seem to have gone.
  6. I think it looks awesome ! But is the radiator going to get enough cool air with the intercooler in front of it like that ?
  7. Glad you got it sorted easily ! :D
  8. Hamilton has just been disqualified from the Australian GP for deliberately misleading the stewards over what happened with Trulli overtaking him
  9. Check these out : Removing the seat Taking apart the seat
  10. I am sure you won't have done any damage yourself from what you've described. But it certainly sounds like the garage has done something wrong, hopefully they will be able to sort it out very easily (and at their expense !).
  11. I got the list from when someone else posted it up here ! I suspect it was a copy they received from a Lexus dealer after a service.
  12. The workshop manual gives all sorts of procedures for the DTC tool giving engine data and all sorts. On that basis I assumed it was far more than an OBDII reader and probably was Toyota/Lexus-specific. But I could be wrong. There are various tests just involving resistance that the manual suggests you can carry out here, they might be useful to test the individual speed sensors.
  13. I asked Toyota today for a quote for spraying my (newly purchased today) TRD front lip, and they quoted me £120 plus VAT. So your price sounds pretty good !
  14. Aztecbandit1 has, use search to find his thread on it :winky:
  15. Lexus/Toyota can usually get you a part overnight if you pay slightly more. Don't know if they'll do this for such low-cost items as a nut though.
  16. Here's a (not very good) pic of the upgraded brackets that come with the C-One ARBs :
  17. Sky Insurance are very used to insuring imported cars, I don't know for sure but I imagine they'd do you a pretty good deal for insuring one of these.
  18. Lol ok, for the 120K km service it says you need to replace the diff oil, replace auto transmission oil, inspect (not replace) manual transmission oil, and replace the brake and clutch fluid (amongst other things).
  19. That's not unusual for insurance companies though, i.e. a lot won't cover modified cars. They've obviously a bit confused about factory-fitted chargers though.
  20. Roughly £100 for a geometry setup. Contact Tony at WIM for the actual price though.
  21. My measurements (to the outside of the arch, I assume that's what you did too) are as follows : Front approx 60mm gap. Rear approx 80mm gap. I think some lowering is in order !
