  1. So what's the news Stav, got a big smile on your face yet ?
  2. I'm 99% sure you will need the D-type connectors Keith, as supplied on the Goodridge brake lines. See Carles's post here. The picture makes it look like there is groove across the nut connecting the OEM lines into the car for the earlier S-type connectors, though I haven't verified this on my own car (but have no reason to doubt it). It seems that edeath and Asi have successfully installed Goodridge lines with the D-type connector on 2001 cars.
  3. There's a guide to what will fit here.
  4. There are some guides on posting pictures here and here.
  5. No it doesn't. Check out the sticky thread here showing which offsets will fit.
  6. Ah it is an LE after all. Sorry, I only looked at the first pic and it looked like Platinum Ice in that pic.
  7. I think the seller is just expanding the "SE" of "IS200 SE" to "Special Edition". It just sounds like a regular SE. Maybe you're thinking of the LE (Limited Edition), which had a special grille and paint ?
  8. Surely plenty of air gets into the engine bay already, otherwise the OEM air scoop wouldn't work ? Or am I missing something ?
  9. BA9 is also known as 233, and BA9S. This is the sort of thing I got (not identical but very similar). Also this is what I got for the dome light.
  10. Can you try connecting your PS3 via a cable to the router and having a bit of a play like that, to see if it's the wireless that's at fault ? I suspect that it probably is. An alternative solution, if you can't have the router near the PS3, is to install a Powerline networking solution, where the network traffic is sent over your mains wiring. This is a lot faster and not prone to interference. Although it's not cheap, it'll probably set you back close to £100 for a pair of adapters (one to plug in your PS3 - or PC etc - and another to plug in to the router). This will basically act like a direct connection rather than wireless.
  11. A couple of people have reported this in the past, might be worth doing a search, though I don't recall anyone saying what the solution was.
  12. It's the guy who's chief exec of the company (Serco) providing the speed cameras. Story here. Shame it wasn't one of his cameras he was caught on, but anyway -
  13. The central dome light is 269/Festoon 31mm. The map light is BA9. I've swapped both of mine for multi-LEDs (36 in the dome, 6 in the map light).
  14. On the insurance front, is that with the new engine covered "like for like" ?
  15. Only one of the pics is an IS200, I think, so I presume (?) that's the one you'd be getting.
  16. The "Panel" fuses covers all the illumination, e.g. the ashtray light, trc switch light, rear fog illumination, as well as the a/c controls, dash dials etc. Are all these not working now ? Are the tail lights and stop lights at the rear still working ? There's a relay in common with those that could be at fault ?
  17. ok, so they're 8Jx17, ET45. I'm not too good on wheel sizes but I'm sure someone else will be able to confirm for you if they're ok and which tyre size to use. I read somewhere that earlier IS250s had all four wheels the same size but later ones had wider rears. The eBay listing implies they're all the same width, but might be worth double-checking with the buyer (e.g. in case he hasn't realised himself).
  18. Lol I didn't think about the fuses ! Was it the "Radio No. 1" fuse that had gone ? That's the one on the permanent live. That would explain a lot ! :D
  19. Got the eBay item number ? The tyre size will depend on the exact wheel size.
  20. It'll be for the adverts on the site. It doesn't do any harm, you don't really need to worry about it. Though if you are especially concerned about websites knowing where you've been so to target advertising at you, you can probably block it if you want.
  21. That's very odd. Yes, the red and yellow wire into the clock is a permanent live.
