And check that a foreign object has somehow not got into the throttle body - take off the pipe from the intercooler and have a look for anything stuck (and if there is something there try and get it out without letting it drop in further !).

It's hard to tell from the pic. Bit of a rubbish picture because it doesn't show the shape of the underside of the nut, i.e. the most important bit !

WIM charged me two hours' labour to fit my TTE springs. The geometry setup at WIM is around £100. Yes, WIM can correctly set the geometry with those springs on. Basically there's a limit as to how low you can go whilst still being able to "recover" the geo to the correct settings (i.e. before the OEM adjusters on the IS200 run out of adjustment), but the TTE springs are within that limit.

Don't some track days mandate the wearing of a crash helmet ? Or is that always optional (I noticed it seemed to be optional on the link that Chris provided, but I seemed to remember it being mandated at a previous LOC track even, though I could be wrong) ? Just wondered if that's something you need to check.

The ERR3 means it's jammed. It's a mechanical item, and I guess it's not just that reliable. Yes, it should be able to handle 6 discs with no problem, and mine used to be fine with 6 discs in it, but after a while it got ERR3. As I said, in theory you could take it apart, free the jam and put it back together and it would probably be fine again (till the next time it jammed). Trouble is, the bottom loaders are pretty hard to take apart so IMHO would be even harder to put back together. Think of it as a blessing in disguise though. I was a bit annoyed when my head unit went ERR3, but in the end I was pleased, because my new head unit is sooooo much better ! :D

I found a site ages back which I'm sure had the codes for those lower colours too. I'll try and see if I can find it again.

I don't understand, but I'm probably missing something :duh: :iraqi-info-minister: Why would a lighter flywheel affect going up hills ? If it's lighter then doesn't that mean there is less inertia to overcome to get things going, which if anything would make it easier to do a hill start ? (I presume we're talking about hill starts here, I can't see why it would be worse when already going along, up a hill). As I say, I'm probably missing something though.

Paint codes are usually shared with Toyota, but names can be different. Lexus paint names in the US can even be different from Lexus UK. A good place to look up Lexus paint codes is here. I personally wouldn't recommend getting Halfords to mix something up though, heard some bad stories about that !
