  1. what sort of price you looking at from them, had a laugh with the parts guy the other day £50+vat for speed dial lights lol for some t10 and t5 bulds i don't think so Sorry, I don't know. But the list price for a TRD front lip is £124 plus VAT. I imagine side skirts will be more than that for a pair. I wasn't putting this forward as the cheapest option, just a place where at least you know you can get them and you're buying the genuine item (your previous comment made it sound like you were dubious about items you might find on eBay, probably with good reason, e.g. cheap copies of the TRD kit).
  2. You should still be able to get hold of TRD side skirts from Lexus dealers, if you want to be sure you're buying the genuine item.
  3. I got my IK20s from the US, like the ones here (the same seller that I used). Don't worry that it says ES300, the important thing is that it's 6 x IK20s, which is exactly what you need. I did a walkthough on changing plugs, which is in the Workshop forum. I can't say I've really noticed any difference on my car, but then I didn't particularly expect to. Suffice to say that they're new plugs so should be better than having old ones in there, and maybe will very slightly help fuel economy ?
  4. You mean the light in the headlamp washer button ? Yes, that is working fine.
  5. Thanks for the suggestions so far. I tried pressing the windscreen washer button at the same time as the headlamp washers, didn't make any difference. I tried pulling up the headlamp washers. They seem to pull up ok. There seems to be a reasonable amount of resistance when I pull them, i.e. they retract back down when I let go.
  6. Adding further info : C-One Front 32mm hollow C-One Rear 17mm solid
  7. Agree 100%. I never understood why they changed this, and think going back to the old points system would be better, there's a bigger incentive to win then.
  8. I can't see any water dripping down or anything. I hadn't tried pulling up the washers because I didn't know if it was safe to do that. So they should just pull up on their own ? I will try that.
  9. My C-One ARBs just arrived. Woo-hoo ! Now need to get them fitted and see what difference they make ! :D
  10. I just topped up the washer fluid and it didn't take a lot, so it was fairly full already. No difference, they still don't work. Andy-r - there must be a motor involved, I can hear it working when I press the button. I guess that perhaps water pressure is used to make the washers pop up, but the water is being driven by a motor/pump ?
  11. I did have the lights on (otherwise you don't get the whirring when you press the button). I'll try topping up the water though, thanks.
  12. To me it was a no-brainer to join as a Gold member. You can effectively get the money back for your membership fee via discounts, and then keep saving to make you quids in ! :D
  13. I've just discovered that my headlamp washers don't work, and I suspect this has been the case ever since I bought the car (since I've been meaning to check them before, but kept forgetting). When I press the button there is a whirring sound, so it sounds like the motor is working and I'm thinking it's not an electrical/fuse problem. I have water in the tank because the windscreen washers work fine. The headlamp washers whirr, but they don't pop up at all. I've had a look in the online workshop manual but it only really seems to deal with electrical issues for the washers. Any ideas ? I can see the front bumper having to come off
  14. I had quite a hard job finding this out myself, when I wanted to fit McGard nuts to my 17" 5-spoke wheels. The ones that I got were 21156, they fit ok and look very similar in shape to the OEM wheel nuts. If you're getting them from Halfords you'll find they need ordering in, they don't tend to stock them.
  15. It looks a lot less ugly to me than the Cayenne, and look how well that sold !
  16. Yep. But you can get replacement "Xenon bulbs" that aren't HIDs, they're just regular bulbs with a little bit of xenon gas in them to give a bluish tinge. That doesn't make them any brighter though. HIDs don't use a filament, there's an electrical current flowing through the xenon gas, and it takes a very high voltage to initially start them, then a much lesser voltage to keep them going. That's what the ballasts do that come with HID kits, a small bit of electronics to provide a very high startup current, and circuitry to stabilise that for normal operation. Xenon-replacement bulbs as you can get in Halfords are a waste of money. A proper HID kit is miles brighter.
  17. Actually I didn't used to like these, but I do now. I think it's ever since I got my stainless dash dials. Back to the issue of getting them made, I assume that all three dials are the same (can someone who's got them confirm please ?). If so, then that immediately triples the quantity being made off the same tool (helping to lower the overall cost per piece, e.g. if 10 people ordered them then that's actually 30 rings.
  18. That sounds odd. Are they both like that ? Are you talking about in the daytime or at night ?
