  1. Most indoor window cleaning products or something like Autoglym Fast Glass should do a good job. If you're getting lots of marks left behind on the inside, it's probably just that your windows are very dirty and need a lot of cleaning ! It's amazing how much muck they can pick up.
  2. I wish ! :D They belong to P.Lindblom. See this thread and feel free to join in ! :winky:
  3. I don't know for sure, but I thought they were meant to be a lot more secure than that. The OEM ones are a bit rubbish though IMHO, the rods on the key could easily snap off. McGard say that their keys are computer-generated and allow for an "infinite" number of combinations. So I presume it's pretty much a random shape, so you're not going to be able to find someone who has the actual key for it.
  4. There's some technical info about wheel/tyre sizes in this thread I didn't know exactly what the "offset" meant either, but Wiki has an article explaining it here. Any wheels that you look at will have a specified offset. Combining this with the fact that you need five-stud wheels, should narrow down your options somewhat.
  5. Would probably be pretty expensive to send a huge, heavy drum of it ! But perhaps kenmac would consider selling lengths of it (remember that this will just be the cable and will still need connectors), which would probably be pretty inexpensive via the post ?
  6. Bear in mind that it's pretty easy to run your battery down even if you leave the interior light on overnight !
  7. If those were my only options, I'd not buy anything for the moment, and keep on trying/waiting to find a seller who is not an arse ! As Rob said, what happens if you buy from this guy and he send you the wrong thing ? Sounds like it will be a nightmare. Please don't do it.
  8. Personally, I would go along there and be as friendly as possible about it, and show them the problem. If they can see you're being reasonable, then I'm sure they will be too. Showing them first-hand will be a lot easier then sending them pictures etc.
  9. Mmmm, GT-R :D Yeah I don't see how they can give you these buttons to press and then void the warranty if you press them ! Fair enough if the button wasn't present and was an after-market add-on !
  10. LMAO ! At least the guy can laugh at himself too
  11. I guess all models of car are different in this respect. Personally, I find my IS200 a bit more likely to steam up than my previous car. Not sure if I'm understanding the question correctly, but in the picture below, the middle button has been set to recirculate air (left-hand light of the two). This will heat the car more quickly (or cool it more quickly) but will also have more of a tendency to steam up. Make sure it is on the right-hand of the two settings (with the arrow showing air coming in from outside) if things are getting steamy ! As has been said, turning the aircon on will work wonders too.
  12. I can't answer your question, but like Rob said, you're seriously thinking of buying something from an eBayer who you described as a "complete arse" ?
  13. Welcome. You seem to be slightly in the wrong place for the best advice, in that you've posted in the IS200 forum, and you'll probably find more IS250-knowledgeable members in the IS250 subforum here. I'm sure that someone there will have some ideas for you :winky:
  14. Be aware that if the battery has laid discharged for a long period of time, it might have completely died (leaving it discharged doesn't do it any good) and not even a battery charger might get it going. It's worth a try though.
  15. The polarity is which way round the plus and minus of the electrical connectors are. If the polarity was wrong on one of the lights, then that light wouldn't work at all, not just sometimes. Basically on these kits quite often it doesn't really tell you which way to insert the connectors, you can try it one way and test the lights, if it doesn't, then pull the plug out, turn it over and plug it in the opposite way round.
  16. Only in the early ones. On the later ones (e.g. all the ones they sell now) Sony removed the chip that did the PS2 stuff.
  17. Yeah, a lot of people assume that the dealer will always be more expensive. Sometimes they are indeed, but sometimes the dealer is cheaper than eBay and also they can typically get stuff very quickly too.
  18. Nooooo, it's a rip-off price ! Don't pay that, it should only be about £40-something from a Lexus dealer. Gold membership will get you a discount from most Lexus dealers.
  19. I could be wrong but I think it's going to be in GT5, but isn't in GT5:Prologue (though there were rumours about a downloadable update for the latter). If it's one of the original PS3s that can play PS2 games, then it's in GT4.
  20. Your brakes shouldn't "clunk", that's not right. I'll leave others to comment further on that. As for the parts, try CheapToyotaParts, I got my water pump from them. Also don't forget to try Lexus/Toyota for a quote too, and if you're a Gold member you can get a discount from most dealers. Did you not get instructions in your HID kit ? All you really need to do is unplug your headlamp bulb, connect the existing car's headlamp plug into the HID kit, and insert the HID bulb into the headlamp, then fix down the ballast somewhere convenient (e.g. with strong sticky pads).
