  1. Like it. I'm not answering your question though !
  2. It mentions a de-restricted airbox in his signature too.
  3. Looking at this diagram I'm not 100% sure. It gives two different part numbers for the two O2 sensors on bank 1, but just one part number (89465-53150) for bank 2. I don't know if this is because both bank 2 sensors use the same part ? I really don't know for sure and I'd strongly recommend you check with a Lexus/Toyota dealer or someone who can tell you for sure about this, if you're going to go ahead and order a part.
  4. The guy who designed these doesn't currently have a set of the later dials to work off. As Stav said, a couple of the warning lights have been switched around. If a few people with the later cars wanted to get together and buy a set that he could use (e.g. from eBay or a breaker's), I'm sure he could easily design some of these stainless discs for later cars.
  5. Bump since this is just a few days away now ! :D
  6. Excellent ! :D So do you think that the programming worked after all ? Or did you change the battery ?
  7. It would be a pretty easy journey from Heathrow to the Ace Cafe. Get on the M4, head into London, then take the North Circular Road when you come across it.
  8. The online workshop manual doesn't suggest cleaning it, so my guess is that wouldn't help. This is only a guess though, I don't know for sure. The main things suggested by the manual are a faulty sensor or a bad electrical connection.
  9. I think that TDi have just one set of new TTE ARBs in stock. At least, they did a short while ago (similar to edeath when I was trying to figure out which ones to get). Wozza - you weren't kidding ! :D
  10. The larger the number in colour temperature doesn't have anything to do with brightness, it's the colour. Actually 12000K will probably be a very purple colour and won't be very bright at all. Something like 4500K is around the brightness used for OEM HIDs. A lot of people (including myself) go for 6000K because although they'll be slightly less bright than 4500K, they're still very bright and have a slight hint of blue. Should be great for both on and off-road use.
  11. Why do you ask, is it compulsory to have a fire extinguisher in either Poland or Germany ?
  12. The location of that sensor is shown on the second page of this diagram
  13. I got a Sport too when I was looking. There's not really a big difference though, as Stav said. It's not like the Sport has got a different engine or anything, it's no faster. The only real "sporty" thing about it IMHO (other than cosmetics) is the limited-slip diff. Anything else you could add without too much trouble onto an SE. But there should be plenty of choice around at the moment, it's a real buyer's market. Take your time and you should be able to pick up a very nice motor.
  14. Yeah I was wondering whether there's a difference if you're trying to re-program the original key ? Sorry but I can't answer that one. I followed the procedure and got it to successfully program the remote locking for two other keys that my car had "forgotten".
  15. £10 for a whole set ? Were they kosher ? Seems like an amazing price, and although I haven't noticed any particular difference with my Denso IK20s, I didn't notice any different smell either.
  16. If the door locks start operating on their own, that's good, that means you've successfully put the car into "key programming" mode. Are you doing both of the following steps ?
  17. Drop links from Lexus have a list price of £49.06 plus VAT for each front one, and £37.08 plus VAT for each rear one. Someone posted yesterday that you can get Blueprint ones for £30 plus VAT. Also there are some on eBay, but by the time you add a bit of postage and take off a Gold discount from the Lexus price there wasn't really a lot in it.
  18. OMG, I was expecting some sort of horrendously bent thing but you can hardly even notice that unless you look closely. Talk about taking the p**s ...
  19. Your noise sounds exactly like mine does, it does it over speed bumps. But it also does it sometimes on full lock accelerating and braking in first gear, I had to find an empty car park to try this though, it doesn't do it on normal driving. Unfortunately I never tried that, and I can't now that the noise has seemingly gone. I'm pretty sure the IS300 uses the same size of ARB as the IS200, so would have the same bushes. I wasn't exaggerating about the ARBs, I still think they're absolutely awesome and I highly recommend them ! :D
