  1. I think I've got a single room, but you can sleep on my floor if you like ?
  2. Damn, I'll have to blame it on someone putting something in my non-alcoholic beverage when that happens then
  3. She just found out that, similar to another member's story on here recently, it was actually her mat jamming the accelerator pedal and causing problems ! She did see the funny side of it though and was relieved not to have a big pre-Xmas bill !
  4. I'm going to the Ace Cafe too, certainly won't be wearing a suit there ! But I'm sure you'll be able to change at the hotel mate, you can use my room if you want to for that.
  5. You won't be the only one, I don't drink either but I'm sure it will still be fun ! (that means if I end up dancing and making a fool of myself then I can't blame it on being drunk )
  6. So is everyone wearing suits then ?
  7. A while back I think someone posted that there was a proper Toyota remote starter for the Altezza, and they were going to try installing that.
  8. Will you be wearing the same outfit on Saturday night Tony ? Love it ! :D
  9. John, is the stuff that Aido found on the net right, i.e. that the meal is at 8pm ?
  10. Yeah they were £2.77 plus VAT each when I checked.
  11. Lexus can usually get the parts overnight if you pay a little bit more.
  12. Did you get these Phil ? The clear door markers ? Did they fit ?
  13. See this thread for one example of a LOC member taking their car to Drury Lane. A search for "Drury Lane" will turn up more.
  14. Wouldn't that be transmission oil rather than engine oil though ? Sorry if I'm misunderstanding, I don't get this problem (or don't notice it, anyway) on my IS200.
  15. A friend of mine has an old Nissan Primera (late 90s ?) whose clutch has just gone (i.e. severe slipping). Since she's female (the friend, that is), I am wary of her possibly getting ripped off by a dodgy garage. Doing a quick Google it looks like clutch kits come in at less than £100. Anyone have any idea roughly how much (in terms of time) labour should be required to change the clutch ?
  16. It's a long shot, but your neighbour (or you ?) hasn't got a doorbell have they (and the new car is a coincidence) ? I posted on this yesterday after reading something on another forum about wireless doorbells causing a couple of people problems with remote locking.
