  1. Duty is separate from VAT, and is supposed to be paid as well.
  2. Why not just get one from Lexus, especially if your garage has to pay for it ? They should be able to get one overnight.
  3. Does that one definitely work for the bottom-loaders ? I have heard conflicting stories about whether the Grom will work with bottom-loaders at all. If I was you I'd get something in writing from Grom confirming that it'll work with your specific head unit before purchasing, then if something does go wrong you can easily get your money back.
  4. You might like to check out the details of Stav's decat pipe in this thread Bear in mind that you'll need to swap your cat back in at MoT time.
  5. Yep, no choice if you just get some new springs. But if you get some adjustable coilovers like, say, Tein Super Street, then you can adjust the damping force as well as height to give you a range of ride adjustment.
  6. Ellz still seems to have a back box for sale, plus a cat too. Check out this thread and send him a PM.
  7. Have you tried a breaker's ? I would have thought that you could pick up a back box from there for not very much at all.
  8. ToyotaGT aren't that far away from you, you might want to give them a try. I used them to change my cam belt and also to fit upgraded ARBs. Look down the forum list for their own forum and further details.
  9. That sounds like an amazingly fast delivery for the shipping price that you paid. I wonder if you got lucky on that, and they were delivered a lot faster than they should have been ? Did they come via a courier or via the US Postal Service ?
  10. Yes, I your lights will be set to point to the right so you need to change them to point to the left, and I think that the only way to do that is to put some of those stickers on the lenses, I don't think that manual adjustments will doing anything significant on that.
  11. Surely it's only some Aristos that have the twin turbos, isn't it ? Aristos are basically the GS, aren't they ? Just that there's a model that has twin turbos, and the equivalent model isn't in the GS range ?
  12. Several of us are coming up straight from the Ace Cafe meet, which finishes at 4pm. So I imagine we'll be up around 5. Dave Prolex said he'd be there earlier (assuming he doesn't decide to come to the Ace Cafe too). Don't know about anyone else.
  13. I thought he was referring to Aaron's posting here, but I could be totally wrong !
  14. You can get touch-up kits from Toyota/Lexus. I've not tried them though (although I bought one), don't know how easy it is to get a good finish. If you've got loads it might be worth getting some quotes for a respray, rather than trying to touch up all the individual chips.
  15. What sort of parts can you not get hold of ? It should be very easy, you can use Toyota spare parts departments, most motor factors and websites like this one
  16. There is a transponder in the key fob which links to the car's immobiliser, yes.
  17. I would demand a replacement/refund and if they say no, tell them you'll be contacting Trading Standards. The new item is clearly faulty and they can't argue with that.
