Does that one definitely work for the bottom-loaders ? I have heard conflicting stories about whether the Grom will work with bottom-loaders at all. If I was you I'd get something in writing from Grom confirming that it'll work with your specific head unit before purchasing, then if something does go wrong you can easily get your money back.
Yep, no choice if you just get some new springs. But if you get some adjustable coilovers like, say, Tein Super Street, then you can adjust the damping force as well as height to give you a range of ride adjustment.
ToyotaGT aren't that far away from you, you might want to give them a try. I used them to change my cam belt and also to fit upgraded ARBs. Look down the forum list for their own forum and further details.
That sounds like an amazingly fast delivery for the shipping price that you paid. I wonder if you got lucky on that, and they were delivered a lot faster than they should have been ? Did they come via a courier or via the US Postal Service ?
Yes, I your lights will be set to point to the right so you need to change them to point to the left, and I think that the only way to do that is to put some of those stickers on the lenses, I don't think that manual adjustments will doing anything significant on that.
Surely it's only some Aristos that have the twin turbos, isn't it ? Aristos are basically the GS, aren't they ? Just that there's a model that has twin turbos, and the equivalent model isn't in the GS range ?
Several of us are coming up straight from the Ace Cafe meet, which finishes at 4pm. So I imagine we'll be up around 5. Dave Prolex said he'd be there earlier (assuming he doesn't decide to come to the Ace Cafe too). Don't know about anyone else.
You can get touch-up kits from Toyota/Lexus. I've not tried them though (although I bought one), don't know how easy it is to get a good finish.
If you've got loads it might be worth getting some quotes for a respray, rather than trying to touch up all the individual chips.
What sort of parts can you not get hold of ? It should be very easy, you can use Toyota spare parts departments, most motor factors and websites like this one
I would demand a replacement/refund and if they say no, tell them you'll be contacting Trading Standards. The new item is clearly faulty and they can't argue with that.
