  1. The exact date and venue haven't been announced yet, unfortunately. But keep an eye on the "Club Meetings" forum where there are a couple of threads on the subject. As soon as the date/venue is announced I'm sure it'll be posted up there.
  2. I think that the judder issue is very common, I seem to remember reading a suggestion that it was connected with the flywheel on the IS200 ? As Paradroid says, it's really just a matter of getting the revs right.
  3. My old OEM head unit didn't have the ability to play MP3 CDs, I hadn't heard that later ones could, though I don't know for sure.
  4. ok, I just picked it up. Woo-hoo ! :D Got it from Car Audio Security. Paid slightly more for it (£230) but at least they had it in stock, and also they're not that far away from me (they're near Heathrow) should I need to take it back. Of course I should really have had all the fascia finished by now, but I haven't. So now I can work on getting that sorted, so that I can get it installed before long.
  5. Yeah thanks Aido, the lack of music is really starting to spoil my driving experience ! Yep, I've got the lead and the fascia adaptor. Still part-way through sanding down the fascia and also in the middle of trying to pull out the old amp from the car. Now it looks like I'll be getting one tomorrow I'd better get my act together and finish off those items ! You're right, can't wait to get it installed ! :D
  6. Looks like that's not Amazon themselves but one of their third-party sellers. I wonder if they're really in stock there ? Thanks for the tip though.
  7. Both - somewhere I can mail order from and also somewhere I can visit. Will probably go there tomorrow. Am reluctant to say on here exactly where until I get one for myself ! But if anyone is desperate, then send me a PM.
  8. Update - very frustrated ! Looks like these head units are hard to track down at the moment. Got one on order, waiting for stock. Fingers crossed they get one soon. At this rate I might be buying an iPod just so I can listen to music in my car again ! EDIT - I take that back, a bit more phoning around and I think I've sound found some, woo-hoo ! :D
  9. It must be great to be in the market to buy an IS200 (or any other car, for that matter) at the moment. There will be plenty around, so get a good idea of what spec you want, colour etc, and hold out till you see one that ticks all your boxes.
  10. Yeah British cars always used to have indicators on the right. To me that was more logical, e.g. you could change gear with your left hand and whilst steering with your right flick the indicator. European cars (that were engineered for LHD) always had the indicators on the left. After a while most of our cars changed to fall in line with the continent, but Japanese cars stuck to having the indicators on the right for a while. I actually expected my IS200 to have the indicators on the right still (being Japanese), but it looks like most/all have now fallen in line with having them on the "wrong" side. Good question about the HID connections, I'm pretty sure you always end up having to plug them in the "wrong" way round on the IS200.
  11. Yeah, like Aido said, just tell them the part number, let them confirm what it is and tell you the price. I bet they're still available. Try a couple of dealers.
  12. Yep I've got exactly the same kit and it'll need connecting with the pins the other way round from what looks like normal.
  13. 1. Check out this diagram (scroll down), which will probably help. 2. Mine is an earlier model and doesn't do that, but I suspect that it is the stereo. 3. and 4. No idea, sorry.
  14. Are they not part number 42603-53010, which your Lexus dealer should be able to get hold of ?
  15. Yep, more fiddly on that side due to the lack of room. Glad you got it done though.
  16. Looks like they're more like lowering springs, don't know how they're classed as coilovers given that there aren't any shocks/dampers included
  17. I too think that it's extremely unlikely that the ECU itself is at fault. Much more likely to be a sensor or something like that. If you can get the exact code or codes then folks here should be able to help. Might be even worth buying an OBDII reader if the garage won't tell you, they're not expensive (approx £30 on eBay or even less if you've got a laptop) and it could help save you money if you can work out what's really causing the problem.
  18. Those multi-LED towers will be way too bright for the dash and probably won't fit anyway as Phil said.
