  1. You should be able to get them from TDi quickly if they still have them, but bear in mind you'll need to add VAT and delivery to TDi's prices (which are already included in ProLex's prices). However, just for the sake of a garage visit, if it was me I'd decide which of the ARBs I wanted the most, and then if necessary just book a second visit to fit them.
  2. Put the money towards some uprated ARBs :winky:
  3. Direct Line didn't seem very mod-friendly when I was with them. Are you planning mods ?
  4. I dunno, maybe try and find a broken intercooler for next-to-nothing and just mount it in there for the looks ?
  5. If it was me, if those belts haven't been used for a year, then I'd be replacing them in case they had started to perish.
  6. I've got the Denso IK20s (higher-performance version, though shorter life, than the OEM plugs) and don't have any complaints with them.
  7. I would doubt that insurance companies have been covering you for having a supercharger unless you specifically told them that it had one. What did you tell insurance companies the car was, something like "IS200 S", is that what it says on the registration document ? It sounds like the basic "S" model. I wonder if someone has mistakenly thought "S" meant "Supercharger" ? :D
  8. I think from what he posted it's the "TRC OFF" light, not the TRC light itself, though it would be useful to clarify.
  9. Yep, they're the same for the IS200/IS300/Altezza. See this thread for someone else who's considering ARBs, which also has links to other potentially useful threads.
  10. Maybe I'm wrong, but wasn't it just a heated seat that Jason fitted into his S model, don't know that he got the electric adjustment working
  11. The TRC light shouldn't have anything to do with coil packs. As Tomo said, try an OBDII reader if you can (available from eBay) to check the diagnostic codes. Does the "TRC OFF" light flash all the time ? If so, the implication is that there's either something wrong with the TRC itself, or possible the TRC OFF switch.
  12. I don't think you've got the correct impression about the TTEs, I think they'll have a big effect on the handling. DJ Wozza has them for one, and I know that he rates them *above* his supercharger as the best mod he's done (although maybe his sound system would come close !). You will feel the difference with any of the uprated ARBs in normal driving, yes. When you go round corners it will be so much flatter, you'll feel like you can go a *lot* faster round the same corner than before, quite safely.
  13. Check this posting for details, including the price :winky:
  14. Yeah I would guess that the engine has come from a JDM MR2 Turbo.
  15. ERR3 indicates a CD is stuck. It usually can't be cleared by simply switching to the radio. If it cleared for you, then you were lucky. It was terminal for my head unit.
  16. I don't like the stickers either, but at the end of the day, the important thing is if *you* think it looks good, who cares what anyone else thinks ! :D
  17. Why did you need to cut the cables ? You should be able to get a Toyota connector (e.g. for MR2) that just lets you plug things together. Here is a wiring diagram for the IS200 without amp.
  18. Yep, WIM can fit your ARBs if you want. Or most places really, it's not a big job. The drop link thing is pretty much luck, as Aido said. My car had done just over 50K (and was 9 years old) and two out of the four drop links were seized and needed cutting off. The problem you may find is that you go to get them fitted, then if any of them are seized and need replacing you obviously need to get hold of the parts. What I did was buy four new drop links from Lexus/Toyota and I checked that they were happy for me to return them for a refund if I didn't use them (and if I didn't open the packets). In the end I decided to use them all, drop links are something that wear out in time anyway, so since I was putting a couple of new drop links on through necessity I thought I'd go for the whole hog. Back to one of your earlier questions, I had my car WIM'd before doing the ARBs. But when I went back to WIM yesterday (due to suspecting I had knocked the geo out through a slight mishap), Tony thought that my new ARBs had indeed affected the geo slightly via the increased stiffness (not greatly, but affected nonetheless). Regarding the Cuscos, I was slightly concerned (when I was looking around and trying to decide) that unlike most of the uprated ARBs, the fronts have an even greater increased stiffness compared to the rears, so it might alter the handling characteristics (oversteer vs understeer etc) rather than just making things flatter when cornering. I thought it seemed like the C-Ones would be better. Also I didn't find anyone who actually had the Cuscos and could therefore comment on what they were like. I'm not trying to say that the Cuscos are a "bad" choice, just explaining why I went for the C-Ones.
  19. I *think* that's a later model Lexus-fitted rear spoiler (not sure if was factory option or dealer fit). Try your Lexus/Toyota dealer to see if they're still available. Will probably be quite expensive though. Actually, just looked myself and it looks like they're around £250, see here
  20. They mention it on this page but IMHO it should be highlighted on every page with prices !
