    I think I threw the letter away, but still have the leaflet. Whereabouts does it mention Toyota, I couldn't see anything about that on mine, e.g. it mentioned "Lexus Financial Services" at one point but nothing about Toyota.

    The exchange rate is a bit better now than it used to be, so it sounds like the Hotchkis ARBs are becoming a viable option again. Good news that the customs bill wasn't too high !

    There's a Group Buy going on for Japspeed coilovers, you might be interested in those. There was a recent coilover Group Buy which was for K-Sport, but turned into BC Racing coilovers. The guys who bought from that are still waiting for their coilovers but should be in a position to report back on how those are before too long.

    I doubt that any of them will work on the IS200, it doesn't mention them in the manual. Except for changing the a/c filter, of course.

    The code or codes should be in a format like "P0123", something like that.

    You'll have to take them apart then I'm afraid, like Asi said, by putting them in an oven. Use the search facility to find other threads on this, and feel free to ask more questions on how you do that if the other threads aren't quite clear.

    What a horrible thing to happen, really feel for you mate. Hopefully it will have been just driven a short way and left though, I had a friend whose car was stolen and it didn't go far and was still in one piece. Hope the police catch the :tsktsk: while they're driving it.

    Yeah but you could use the same argument to ask why people would pay money for a Lexus, when they could buy a cheap Korean runaround that would do the same thing ?

    Are you sure it's dirty on the inside and not on the outside ? It's usually the outside that can get discoloured, but you can use something like a clay bar or Brasso to fix that.

    Yeah as long as the wheels are the same size, and you get them re-balanced, there's no reason not to move tyres from one wheel to another.

    Does sound very likely to provide those sort of benefits to me. See if you can get a written guarantee that it'll give you between 15 and 20% more power if you put it on a dyno before and after, I somehow suspect they won't agree to that.

    There are several different codes for the same type of bulb, yes. 7440 is the same as 582 (not 581). Yes, 7443 is a dual filament bulb. The stop tail bulb is R580, not the same as the indicator.
