Meguiars for definate, i was a big Autuglym fan, and then after seeing Jhonny Boys IS last year at Gaydon, i switched over straight to Meguairs and never looked back.. B)

Optimax takes acouple of tanks full before you notice the improvement and also it is better to do an ecu reset after running a tank full of optimax.

Had the day off work yesterday, just so that i could give the old lexi a make over.. Got started on the car around 11am with the Maguirs 3 Step clean up (after 4 months of neglect - well cold weather ) step 1 cleaned it up nicely, step 2 perfect deep shine, step 3, had to get the sunglasses out B) , clleaned and waxed up the alloys, put the meguiars tyre gloss on and just sat and looked at the final result . A few of my mates came just as i finished, their eyes nearly popped outa their heads , so after 4 hours of work my shoulders were killing, but it was worth the effort. So decided to take it for a quick cruise through town centre, went to McDonalds, damn everyone was just staring, parked went inside and looked out of window everyone checking car out.. Anyway left McDonalds, had to go to the Gym at 5 (personal training session), just as i was about to pull into car park, rear tyre went pssssssss... Got a *&^%$ :tsktsk: puncture, and guess what on the tyrewall aswell .. i was gutted, only to make things worse looked at the other rear tyre, inside edge worn out too, so got to get 2 tyres today.. Always something init :tsktsk:

No idea about the different types of mintex pads, and haven't heard of pagid, theres ADL as well, they're supposed to be good aswell..

I have just done some phone calls here an there and these are the prices i got.. Mintex Pads ( inc VAT) Front - £32.00 Rear - £20.00 Lexus Pads (15% Discount) Front - £45.00 Rear - £30.00 AT these prices i might aswell get the Mintex ones.. :winky:

i won't be tracking or anything, just the occasional boot up from traffic lights etc.. :winky: boy racers styleeee.. I only gone for these discs mainly for the looks..the car looks weird with just the front ebc discs so with the dba, be getting an even look B) So you reckon i should go for the standard pads? Going find out the cost price of both the standard and the mintex and see what is difference

i like it too, front is wicked, but like AltezzaScott says, the rear looks empty..

Having double thoughts now.. So which ones should i get then: EBC Greenstuff Pads - Front and Rear Standard Lexus Pads - Front and Rear Mintex (will try) - Front and Rear

thanks for the replies, so what i'll do is use the ebc pads front and rear n see how things go, then if i feel they are too hard put the standard ones on..
