I got mine off an ebay seller for just under £100. And yes a deleted (previously used key on other car) can be coded so long as it has been properly deleted from the vehicle it was associated with prior to you trying to code it. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

You need to buy a virgin key or a key that has been properly deleted from a vehicle. I bought a key some time back and upon programming it with techstream the key was coded to another car. This must be recognised by the key having some part read that informs the vehicle 'it' is coded to another vehicle. This message pops up at the time of coding. So that key was useless. Unless reseed process was used and I wasn't about to go down that route. In the end I managed to buy a virgin key and techstream coded it right away with no problems. A thing to note is there will be a code on the label on your current key like 'BC2EQ' or similar. It is important that the key you buy matches this and is of course virgin (not coded to another car) . Regards Ian Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

I went to lengths to get it right since my mileage was not clocking up when I got the car. The lexus people wanted to sell me a new clock at £1000 with '000000` on the thing. Yeah I reckon it will be really easy to shift the car on in future without true mileage So I went to lengths to work out how to resolve it. And yes I hit the ring not moving and all manner of issues. Look your man can use the file or not it direct off my car so I know it's good. Either way makes no odds to me. Was trying to help you out that's all. No worries. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

That ring has 4 screws. Two top and two bottom. They attached to a drive train that is moved by a motor. I very much doubt the guy who put it back together got it wrong. My bet is he put it back together right. I had a few hit and missed getting everything right before I finally did. And what youve described was one of the symptoms. But it would have been impossible for me to know based on the file I sent made over a year ago. Hang fire and let me send you the right dump then when he flashed it, so long as it IS all put together correctly it will function as expected. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

I have attached a file that definitely works. So this file was 55,000 MILES and I clocked up 600 miles then saved off the eeprom content to create this file. My car now has 63K which is not were you need to be, but I would suggest burn this to an IC and remount the IC on the PCB and test first. Upon successfully incrementing, I would then suggest a second go with 93xxx that you need. Incidently where do you live? I am off work next two weeks and would happily help you out using what I know/have - I live in Hull. I have, brain, eeprom programmer and huge technical background in IT to draw on. Incidentally Lexus wanted over 1K for a replacement clock AND....mileage would be 00000 (hmm might be hard to sell then If I ever......ER NO THANKS I will cure it myself, 'it cant be done' - Well no, if your a lexus trained perhaps limits to what is taught, then I agree).. I did it so!!! Perhaps PM me for contact detail Ian 55650_working_miles.bin

Couple of things. Is your car exactly same as mine? 2014 is300h F sport? Also your 95k is miles right not kilometers? It is British car? I don't have file with 95k on it. I would think that a dump from mine and alter the correct hex could give you what you need. The reason yours won't be counting is because in the hex there are 3 locations the hex is in. Two are identical and the 3rd is what one mile behind the other two. This gets updated then is copied to the other 2. That's the working theory. Dont hold me to this. If all 3 are coded the same the mileage won't 'tick' up. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Hi. So mine was as your describing your is. The 93c66 IC SMD on the back of the dashboard clock pcb had to be reprogrammed. For that it needs to be removed since it can't be programmed in situ. I bought a GQ 4x4 eeprom programmer and some blank 93c66 ic's. I had some hex code for 55, 000 miles to program to it. The car is now at 63k. All working well. Whoahoo jump in a lexus (old) is220d and listen to the sound then get in an is300h and listen then tell me. Don't be assuming.)) Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Yeah no wonder eh. Bloody blinkered manufacturers eh Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Do you know what I would agree with that but for one issue.... I had a is220d with touch locking but they did include a button your finger felt to enable locking it and it did detent when you pressed it . In ten years I never forgot to use that. This new or sort of new idea. Bad idea. I forget all the time now due to that small change. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Agree. It wouldn't have hurt them to allow a menu function to enable/disable autolock after x time of not activity or occupation to lock. I made an sms gms shield connected to arduino and relay board for this very reason. And... To enable remote start on the cold mornings. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
