It's black interior mate so if it doesnt work out with scorp's motor (which is a lovely car i must admit) then your welcome to come and have a look at mine

sorry to hijack but i'm in the market for my first lex, again looking at the is200 sport (pref with tte kit), just curious what are the key things to look for when buying a 2nd hand lex (going to be looking at a 2000 reg to avoid the tax boot :P)

ahh fair enough maybe someone can enlighten us to what kit is on yours? SODS LAW - found a gorgeous blue one in immaculate condition although it does have 117k miles (99 T reg) on it, now how do these lex engines go with mileage?

I haven't looked yet mate, but i will :D. I'm actually being really fussy in the lex i want basically i'm looking for a 99-00 (to avoid the higher tax) sport, with under 100kmiles on it and with a similar kit to the one on yours (is this the TTE kit?). I have a vision of a few carbon fiber exterior touches but not sure how well blue will take to it. I've seen a few modded grey 200's and they do look pretty special but i can see it being one of those colours that you can become bored of pretty quickly.

you lucky lucky B*****D :D, i should be in the market for my IS200sport at the end of this month, this will be my first (yes i'm a lexus virgin). I'm currently deciding on colour, i've narrowed it down to Blue/Black or Grey. I was heavily leaning toward grey but after seeing this beauty it does look stunning! I'm going to be having a few carbon pieces on the car splitter/spoiler etc so not sure what colour will go best with this?

can i ask a really dumb question in how comes tax will be cheaper for IS200's reg'd before 2001? I'm also on the look for a IS200 at the min and hopefully will find one, fuel doesn't bother me as i only commute 15miles perweek for work. Also on a slight thread hijack how does mileage affect the IS200's i.e. is 100,000miles on the clock going to kill the car or do they run pretty well as most of the jap straight 6's do?

Hi guys just recently signed up on here as i'm in the market for a IS200, but i'm just curious what the main differences are between the models spec wise?

What i'm looking for is a IS200 with a styling pack in Black manual and with fairly low mileage for it's age, what are my chances :P?
