Balls! they are not even the ones I am after.
Andy-r - what are the part numbers for those lights fella? They are EXACTLY what I am after.
Cheers

Cheers. Problem is now, they have sent two passenger side rears, even though the boxes state the correct part. :/ I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Can I just ask guys, what needs to be removed for fitment, it looks like the plastic strip in the boot, then the lining pulls back, am I correct? I can barely see as it's pitch black.
Andy-r - Exactly, looking good. ;)
Aztec - They were £152 a pair inc. VAT.

Looks really clean, time consuming though I guess. :)

It's me again. Right - what colour, if any have you guys had your standard 17" is200 wheels powdercoated? I'm tempted by an anthracite colour, or a lighter form of it atleast. Don't get me wrong, the standard colour looks superb, i'm just trying to weigh up possible options.
If you could post some pictures for inspiration that would help, alot. I have a Sapphire blue sport (I think so anyway)
Cheers

Just ordered a set from Lexus Hanley, so i'll pop down at some point tomorrow to collect them. :)
Cheers guys.

On the sky handset press 'services' then go to 'settings' then to 'picture settings' make sure the video output is set to RGB not PAL.

Result!, cheers fella.

Thanks for the help people. I'll contact the local Lexus parts (Lexus Hanley) If anybody has the part number (Wozza :D ) then I would appreciate it. I'm really starting to enjoy my Lexus again & i'm treating it to a few subtle changes! So i'll be around the forum a tad more!

Sorry if this has been covered, i'm sure it has, hundreds of times!
Anyway, I have a '99 blue is200 which has the standard chrome rear lights, I would like to replace them with the smoked rears that the later is200's had. Could anybody please tell me ...
1) If they are a direct replacement - wiring also
2) Where is the best place to get them from new or used (I only want the genuine Lexus ones.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if anybody is selling them private, i'm interested.
Thanks chaps.

I went from a Saxo VTS & a 1.9 205 GTi to a Lexus is200, it is sluggish in comparrison (obviously, as the Sax and Pug both do low 7's to 60.) But the Lexus eats large roads, very smooth and nice to cruise in as it has a 6 speed box. :)

andy-r - are they standard rear lights from a later IS? Is anybody on the forum selling any, the standard smoked rears. PM me!

That's smart, very interesting.
-
It does work.
-
Exactly the same with my Sport aswell, clunks from 1st to 2nd. I assume it's fairly normal then?
-
Hmm... interesting. I'd be interested in seeing dyno results to back this up aswell.

Beautiful car! Welcome. :D

I had just turned 21 when I bought my IS200 Sport in May this year.
-
I own an IS200 @ 21 and get told it's an old mans car. :|
-
Saxo VTS/106 GTi.
120bhp out of the box, 0-60 in the low 7's. handle VERY well and are great fun. The TU engines are very tuneable aswell.
I own a VTS (it's off the road though at the mo due to an accident.)

Horrible person.

I have black calipers on my blue sport, with white curved lexus decals. :)

Poverty spec turbo?
I assume the car would need mapping to suit even if it was possible, and the gains wouldn't be great at all. Certainley not worth the bother imo.

Cheers for looking Andy, to be fair, I don't know where the part number would be stamped. Did you get them from Lexus?
If anybody knows the exact part number for the black rears then let me know, as the ones I thought were correct from Chris's thread were not smoked. (The ones on the red IS)
