yet another issue!! lol! all fun and games! new shoes put on today on my is200 sport...but with the handbrake, ive needed to pull it up higher, basically move 'clicks' to stop.?? any higher and the handbrake will stick out the sunroof!!

sorry mate...im losing my paitents with my mech!! the replica discs that i got go onto the hub etc and TURN... but when i put on the locking nuts (not bolts, sorry my bad) and tighten the nuts the wheel doesnt move like it should. both rear wheels are off the ground.. handbrake is off Pads and shoes have been changed if thats any help..(both which are replicas too) i thort it may just be one side, where i.e disc plate is bend etc, but its the the score on the other side! im quite a newbee with the lexus so i apologies if i sound abit DOH!! lol thanks for the feedback already LOC peeps!

yes, they turn without bolts on but not with them on. literally my mechanic has tried 8different set of different discs which dont work..the back disc plate is not bend either...

no, as the current old disc still fits on fine...!!!

discs were only tighten by hand

ive tried the above too mate....ive even taken off the shoes etc and just put on the discs, bolted up and the disc doesnt move on the hub by hand!! im confused.com is it in neutral, handbrake off, both rear wheels jacked off the ground? does the hub turn with the disc off? yes, in neutral, handbrake off, both rear wheels jacked up...and the hub does turn without discs on... the disc does fit on, but once bolted in does not turn!

im currently having my rear discs changed but none of the 7 replicas i have tried are rite!!?! once on the hub and scrwed in, the disc doesnt turn! i have an is200 sport, where replica shoes and pads have just been put in but having difficulties in the discs! do i need genuine parts from lexus???

yeh only when i get upto about 30mph + with my foot down, it whistles.. And only when in gear? In that case I probably know what it is, but I don't know how to translate it from Swedish. It's not harmful at all, and it will disappear when the clutch is replaced, in the future. clutch replaced?? it is annoying the hel out of me mate!! can i not find another way rather than the clutch?? I know how to get rid of it, on the stereo there's a knob thats has Vol next to it turn that up problem solved ive been doing that, but when people turn round and luk at u then u know that they can hear the whilsting too!!!! aarrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhh ive been to garage and they cannot find a leak in exhaust..im clueless now

mileage is 108k...belt changed at 70k..

Does it sound almost like one of the belts slipping when you pull away? Try to open your windows and accelerate close to a wall, see if you can hear it more clearly. saying that, yes it also seems the timing is out, not getting the correct response from every gear and the response

lol! ive checked under car for any leaks whilst a friend puts his foot on the gas but nothing of the sort...

hi guys...im pretty new on here!! hope everyone doin good i have an is200 Sport, stlying kit y-plate. lately i can hear an 'whistling' sounds under the driver rear side everytime i put my foot down on the gas..its quite a strange noise, sounds like bird churping! lol anyone know what it maybe before i go get my ***** spanked in a garage PAZ :winky:
