2006 RX400h. 40K miles. I have a rattle in the back somewhere that I assumed was the center console lid or cup holder retracters or something. The rattle sounds the same whether the console/armrest is up or down or whether the lid for the drink holders is open or closed. Also I can reach back and push down on the lids and the console in general and the rattle stil rattles on. Does anybody have this same rattle (ant you would know) and if so have you found and corrected it? Thanks

I have not heard the noise on my 06 RX400h.

I purchased Scangage II that I leave in the FJ but it works with any car newer than 06. You just plug it into the OBD II and it will scan the error codes and offer you to turn them off. I have only used it to turn off the check engine lights though so not sure about the air bag. Handy tool to have though for $169.00. Does lots more as well.

Go with factory pads, nothing worse than a Lexus with sqeaking breaks.

I have a 2006 and live where we have all four seasons. This car will get worse mileage in the winter because the gas engine is used more for the heat and also in the really hot weather because the batteries don't perform quite as well in the extream heat so the engine will have to charge them more. I have seen alot of complaints about the mileage in southern California and Arizona in the summer. As someone earlier said this vehicle is just as much about performance VS the 330 or 350 as it is the economy of it.
