I was so drunk there, we stayed the night, ended up inside the warehouse "polishing" the car with auto glym in one hand and whiskey in the other lol. Did you look inside my car at all, i had the seat rite back and slept for about an hour with everyone wandering around lol.
Yea i took a couple of pics on my way past n seen someone was asleep on the way back round, was quite ****** myself, lol mate drove me up there, had only just bought my IS a couple of months before so was looking for some. Only got to see yours and 2 other guys. Was a good day like, probs take my car up next year , nowhere near as impressive as the ones i seen though

Yeah i got those exact lights on mine...failed the MOT....would only recommend them if you could get someone to turn the projector lenses round to change the beam direction to suit UK roads...kinda tricky
-
Cant say i have yet but il be keeping an eye on this topic and pick up some ideas for when i get a little bit older :P

Yea was thinking about it, a mate from work has a florescent green rim decals on his bikes black wheels and they look ace...could be tempted to see what it looks like with red like my callipers.
I used hammerite satin black paint mate on the tester wheel, but the friend of mine that's doing the other 4 alloys says he's going to try get some better stuff for me from work, not sure of a name though.
I copied off this vid
Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load!got told afters though i didnt need to strip the wheel right down, just give it a really fine sand down to get all the crap off and then i didnt need to spend money on primer but not sure yet...need it to be perfect

Scott this is what i did with mine mate have a look HERE!! :D I used the satin black on these ones and thats one of mine that i did above ^^^ :)
Very nice mate :) stripped that wheel back down again today and hit it with a full satin black, must say.....waaay better then the matt so cheers for the advice
Didnt bother doin the centre cap today though cos didnt have much time. but im pretty happy with it so il have my mate do all 4 of mine next week sometime.
You cant tell from the pic but had a slight issue..Right after putting the final coat on i lifted up the cloth that id wiped it down with after sanding.....got dust all over the thing while the paint was still wet ....but was just the tester wheel so its all guuurd

Cheers guys. il give the gloss finish or satin a go on the same wheel before going any further, Blue lip sounds good mate, might give it a thought ;)

hey fellas, decided to throw the chroming idea out of the window and til i get abit of money saved for some decent alloys, a mate come up with the suggestion of painting my wheels black, He sprays cars and refurbs alloys as part of his job so he's offered to do it for me.
Had a completely trashed wheel in the shed, most of the paint was already off and Didnt have any propper tools to take the rest off so just did a quick job of spraying over it myself just to see how it would look,
Center cap was taped over before i sprayed it because i didnt really wanna waste it if it looked crap so thats why its looking abit dodgy .
Could do with your opinions before i go do the ones thats on my car, im not too sure myself...might look better if it werent matt?

Cheers mate, il probably get my hands on one as soon as i scrape together £14......times are hard

Yea im glad he got beat, should sort out his over-confidence abit, mate of mine goes to uni down at bolton and says he walks into clubs with all his mates behind him acting like hes the man, just one of those big headed fools that thinks hes invincible.
Im one for backing my country n all that and hes a good boxer but he needed to be sorted

If you have a laptop, you can get a USB one even cheaper than that! Think mine was literally about £2. Though postage from Hong Kong was £15!
The reader will give you a code.
Then you look here: Clicky..... to find out what it means.
Dont suppose you have a link for the laptop USB kit do ya??. Dont really need it but could come in handy in future.
Cheers :)

Yeah iv given in with mine and im just saving up for an aftermarket one. It does exactly the same as yours mate. Only reads disks when it feels like it.
A couple of months ago it just wouldnt eject or load CDs at all after it had been in the garage 2 month and i took it up to lexus and they said the same thing..... ''its gonna cost you about 400 to repair mate and should be away up to 6 weeks, or we can fit a new one for you right now for a grand''
Just went home, read on one of the forums how to remove it, then took it out, took the shell off and removed the CDs, put it all back together and it was working!, only took me half an hour , but still have that problem with the error message all the time though
The girlfriend reckons i should get one of them CD's that cleans it but i dont really know if itll be any good....could be worth a try though?
