How's about this then? These are the Hybrid Reporter results for my return trip from Peterborough to Huntingdon last night. I was driving like my Granny, who was in a particularly frugal mood, as I need to make sure I've got enough fuel to get to Leicester on Friday and arrive on fumes. In Eco mode, 71.48 mpg on the way there and 74.35 on the way back was quite impressive. A/C was off. On the outward journey, I was able to enjoy the slipstream from a Greggs lorry along the A1 and on the return journey, a Whitworth's tanker provided a break in the air for me.

I'm with you there Paul. As long as I can listen to Spotify through the car, and have up-to-date maps from Google, I'm happy. What else do you need the Internet for in the car? I don't want to be able to unlock my car, remotely start it or wind all the windows down using the phone. What is the point?

Well, I'm sure you're all dying for an update. I found the switch and reset the indicator. Just been out for a spin and it's behaving itself.

I was on a Zoom call just now and one of the attendees was desperate to leave and go to fill up, as his wife had just reported queueing going on at their local filling station. It was a boring meeting though, so he may have just been being rather inventive in his excuse for doing something better!

Has panic fuel buying started in your area? I've got a range of 103 miles which needs to get me to Huntingdon and back on Sunday and to Leicester on Friday for the fuel pump recall. Should I fill up a jerry can and stick it in the boot for Friday's return journey in case there's no go-go juice near the dealer or just hope for the best...? Having to keep the low fuel level for the last two months for the recall has been a major pain in the arse and I will be telling them that on Friday. Note to self: contact them on Thursday to make sure that a) they have a courtesy car and b) the replacement pump is actually in the stock room this time...

Mine came on this morning. Checked with Tire Assistant and a gauge and all are ok. Now I need to follow the advice of the wise @royoftherovers and look in the manual, as I can't find the reset switch!

I remember an old squeeze of mine having a white Mk2 MR2. She also had a Mk1 MR2, a car which I had lusted over whilst at Uni. After graduating I had a choice. Stay at home and have an MR2 or get a place of my own and stay on my mountain bike. After only a week back at home, the bike option won. Anyway, I digress slightly. My old squeeze asked me to move the Mk1 for her one day. I was ecstatic. Well, until I got in and realised that my size 10 feet in their Doc Martens shoes made driving the thing impossible. It was a very sad day. We split up shortly afterwards.

Unless it's time for me to be put into a home, selecting "Odometer in miles" would suggest that the total distance covered would be shown in miles. I was on the verge of contacting Lexus Leicester to complain about being sold a clocked car when I realised that I was being shown distance in km, not miles when this option was selected. That saved some embarrassment, I can tell you!

If nobody else has been summoned before I go in, I'll definitely ask why I was the Chosen One!

I had the screen replaced on my IS250 through Hastings Direct and boy was it a pain in the Aristotle. It took a month - no kidding - to get it done (and this was pre-Covid, so no excuses for "parts shortages"), even after explaining that the crack was all the way across the windscreen at almost eye level thus causing a multitude of refracted light annoyance when the sun was on it. Still, on the upside, the fitter did leave a very nice ratchet screwdriver behind. I really must contact the company to ask if he wants it back.... Ahem.
