    I've got a 380 in my IS, fitted by Lexus Leicester. I've given up trying to get it to talk to the phone - there are only so many hours in the day I can waste pressing that blue button! It's much easier to take it off and connect it to a computer in the house!

    I think yours is the first Lexus I've seen with a red interior. Your photo of the inside made me wonder whether my imminent ES has a sunstrip. I can't really tell from the photos I have of it so I guess I'll be on tenterhooks until I can pick it up.

I've just looked them up on ebay and they are silly money. My sister and I are clearing the house at the moment, I'd better go and save that!

    I'm afraid I did. Before buying the courtesy ES, I should really have asked here whether it was a fast car or not.

    It is very smooth and Mrs Mincey said how quiet it was compared to the IS, less rumbly. Over the bumps it bangs and thumps significantly less. There's a bit of road near out local hospital where I think my teeth are going to come out going along in the IS, but the ES just ignored them. I was expecting another harsh ride with it being an F Sport and on 19" wheels but it's very very good. Very wafty - much like my much missed IS250.

    No that's not my plate and I don't have it yet - I just photoshopped one of the images of it from their online ad 🙂 I think it's a great sales technique. Loan a customer a model of the next one up in the range and see if they bite. It worked this time! The guy who sold me my IS parked next to me in that car when I took mine in for a service and I did think it looked rather nice. Never thought I'd own it.

    My late father had three iQs. That doesn't sound fair really as he was rather intelligent and I'm sure his IQ was higher than that. Anyway, I digress. The only issue he had was with the batteries as he didn't drive a lot. My stepson now his last one (a 60 plate auto) and other than the issues documented on here I had with a flat battery and inability to get into it in late 2019, it has been absolutely bulletproof.
