  1. She's a right minx by all accounts.
  2. I use a stick formatted like this to play flacs and it works nicely.
  3. Was it a blue ES? It could have been Betsy. I've no idea where she is now. She didn't suffer Schiessewagens gladly...
  4. He's clearly a Cop of Taste.
  5. More than likely!
  6. I'm thinking that Tiff has developed this habit now. I thought it was a wire going to the rear dashcam rattling but the more I listen, it does sound like it's coming from the sunroof area. It's odd - Betsy didn't rattle at all. I guess that being a trollop and a tease, Tiff has lower standards though. I think I can make it to the next service before the rattling drives me insane. It puts me off taking my scheissewagen owning colleagues for a spin though. I shall let Leicester know well in advance that it needs fixing so they're prepared. I wouldn't mind but I've never used a sunroof since getting a car with A/C and would be much happier without one...
  7. Sheesh - I dread to think what my renewal will be. My mileage is quite a bit north of yours.
  8. Snap. I think all I've had is a low washer fluid light (other than Covid battery issues with the IS300h)
  9. I like it! Note made to ring Lexus Leicester tomorrow to enquire about availability and a trade in value for Tiff.
  10. Back in 1999 before buying my first IS200, I was also considering an Accord Type R and an Impreza Turbo. Common sense prevailed and I've not been outside Lexus since.
  11. We need more of this!
  12. My wife has just become an ex-wife and taken my Ferrari Fund with her. It's swings and roundabouts really. I now have a quiet life but my chances of jumping into something red, noisy and Italian when I felt like some fun have now gone. Would I have really wanted to run a Ferrari given that I knew how much maintenance was? Probably not. I've driven Ferraris at Experiences up and down the country and it's a nice way to do it. Nobody is going to nick it, pee on it or scratch it. Your sitting next to an instructor who will guide you to getting the most out of your time with the car, and as long as you've signed the disclaimer, if you bin it you can walk away happy. Am I bitter? Yes.
  13. It's good to see the ES being used for its intended purpose.
  14. Mission accomplished! Instant bright light - I'm well chuffed. Thank you all for your input
  15. Many thanks! I shall heed your advice, cheers!
  16. Evening learned chums, I feel the need to change my kitchen light to LED. It's currently an old fashioned Neon tube thing with a starter. Can I bin the neon tube and put one of these in without any adverse affects please (assuming I get the length correct!) https://www.screwfix.com/p/lap-g13-t8-led-tube-3300lm-22w-1514mm-5-/608ha
  17. I hope that Mr Tarbuck isn't being maligned here and the felon isn't actually Buck Tarbrush...
  18. Speaking for myself of course, there are times when you hear something on the radio or see something on the TV and it leaves an indelible "Holy **** what was that?!" mark on you. Here's one. I have many more. I just need to remember them...
  19. Idiot! I left out the crucial part - it should have read: "The guys on the helpdesk at work were creating AI generated Lego versions of their cars the other day. Here's Tiff..."
