It was definitely Marti. I was almost scarred for life.

I remember complaining to my mother about finding a pip in a seedless satsuma when I was about 8 or 9. She told me that I must be lucky because it was only one in every thousand which had a pip. That said, she also convinced me that Marti Caine was a man once.

Now then, now then.... I stopped Freecycling when I wanted to get rid of two pretty good Dawes cycles which belonged to my parents. I had about ten requests for them and I wanted to be fair, so I gave them to the first responder, even though there were a couple saying that the bikes would make a great difference to their lives. What a mistake. They came to collect them, then as they got back into their car, said they were going on ebay. I will never, ever, ever put anything on Freecycle again.

Now I'm sure that many of you will be surprised, and perhaps somewhat concerned, to see that I have posted on this thread, given the well known fact that I rarely complain or moan about anything, but something got my dander up this morning. Let me explain. Sandisk "Easy Open Packaging". An oxymoron if ever there was one. I treated Betsy to a 128GB microSD card to replace the paltry, and frankly very short on space 32GB card which NextBase assume is good enough for front and rear camera installations. I thought I would have time to fit it before starting work this morning. It was touch and go, I can tell you. It was easy enough to open the card packet which the card came in, but was the plastic container, sealed with a film lid easy to open? In the cold? Without a Swiss Army knife and an SDS drill? No it was not! I got rather cross I have to say. It's lucky that my front door key has a reasonably sharp edge to it, otherwise I would continue to be struggling out there now. I'm still cross in fact. Anyone at work who rubs me up the wrong way today will feel the full force of my wrath, make no mistake!

Ahem - I've found something which isn't as well designed on Betsy as it is on the IS. Whilst loading the old girl with some stuff this afternoon, I noticed that the struts (hinges? The bits which the boot lid is fastened to) do not slide into a specially designed recess/hole like they do on the IS. This means that if you are not careful, you can smush - to use the technical term - your stuff when the boot lid is closed. I'm probably not making much sense here. Hopefully you will know what I mean. If not, I'll take some photos tomorrow when it is light.

Or loud elevators. The lift in our local Next has a very aggressive lady doing the voice overs. When the ground floor is reached, she shouts out at full volume "GROUND FLOOR!". Even though I'm braced for it, she always scares the bejeesus out of me.
