I was pleasantly surprised at the weekend to be asked for a Bob Marley CD by my 8 year old granddaughter. Why? She is being taught about him in her music lessons at school. I wish I'd had her music teacher when I was growing up. Next week she's learning about Napalm Death apparently.

I agree entirely with you both. How many pedestrians are going to die, and how many accidents will happen before someone realises that it is an idiotic idea and puts things back to how they were. Pedestrians will believe they can cross wherever they want, when they want, with impunity. It is a recipe for disaster.

Last week I returned to where I'd parked Betsy to find a couple in what I'd estimate to be their late sixties doing what can only be described as ogling at her. I smiled at them, and once buckled up pressed the EV button and we drove silently away from them. The husband watched me disappear into the distance, not listening to what his wife was saying to him, which I can only imagine was "why did you waste all that money on this white scheissewagen when we could have had one of those?"

The road discipline of many of those cyclists is appalling, and where are their helmets? It's sheer irresponsibility.

I've not had any issues with Google Maps... yet! Waze however is another matter. A trip from Peterborough to the outskirts of London was interesting. Kept trying to send me home. Maybe it knew that my heart wasn't really in the journey though and it's more intelligent than I'm giving it credit for.

Sainsbury's Bretton, Peterborough just now. I have a feeling that this is the ES which pulled up next to me at the hospital traffic lights way back when Betsy was just a twinkle in my eye. That and maybe this are the only other ES's I've seen in these parts.
