  1. How odd - if I'm sitting in Cordelia with the radio playing and the engine's off, it will automatically shut everything down after about 15-20 minutes to save the battery.
  2. I'm not missing something am I? That's not a joke name like Seymour Butt or Phil McCavity is it?
  3. For trial airflow, see page 304 in the manual: The car will detect whether there's anyone in the front passenger seat or back and adjust the air accordingly.
  4. Interesting point about wireless Android Auto. I was expecting Tiff to have wireless AA but she didn't. I haven't looked for it in Cordelia yet as I just assumed she'd be the same as Tiff.
  5. Good point: I think you've nailed it there - Betsy didn't have that option.
  6. I was thinking that if you got your car to forget you then recreated the account after reinstalling the app, it might work. It's odd that your wife's phone is the same. Might be worth contacting the dealer before doing anything drastic perhaps?
  7. Very odd. Is it worth disconnecting it from the car, uninstalling and trying again?
  8. You're definitely using the Lexus Link + app and not the old one?
  9. And there's also an alert if you haven't closed one of the doors properly. I was just about to start my weekly food shop earlier today when I had a message to say Cordelia's drivers' door was open.
  10. I've just found a spreadsheet with all the mileage details of my first IS200. All calculations were based on brimming the tank and the trip recorder. My best mpg was 35.6, worst was 13! The average was 28.4. I was mainly doing trips from Peterborough to Coventry/Redditch/Wokingham plus short local trips. How times change:
  11. Not remote starts - just turning the a/c and hazards on. Turning the hazards on is a great step forward. One day I'll forget where I've parked Cordelia and being able to switch her hazards on will help me find her amongst the sea of other red ES300s.... ;-)
  12. They were quite happy to insure mine when I rang them to say I'd changed cars a few weeks ago.
  13. Go into the Lexus Link + app, then in the My Garage page (first icon, bottom left if it's not there by default) you'll see an image of your car with the mileage, fuel and range below, then underneath that are the icons for remotely controlling the climate system and switching the hazard lights on.
  14. It's good to see a brace of ES's being used for their intended role.
  15. Ahem! I've bought three!
  16. Well done Sir! An Excel calculated 62.2 on a return run to Royston was my best in Tiff. Think I managed slightly higher than that in Betsy but that was being slightly irresponsible by sitting right behind an HGV all the way from Cambridge to Peterborough up the A14.
  17. I get that occasionally with Waze. Unplugging the wireless adapter/USB lead and reconnecting generally fixes it.
  18. That's significantly cheaper than the Lexus liner! However it doesn't have the lip running around each edge which keeps any fluids (from broken wine bottles, or floods when the idiot owner leaves the boot lid up in the rain...) from getting into the boot itself.
  19. That's not a bad idea Malcolm. I'll give it some thought 😁
  20. Tiff was at Lexus Leicester yesterday and today to have the sunroof rattle issue fixed. I have to say that on the drive home I thought "they did a good job there" to myself. Meet Cordelia: "Who is Cordelia?" I hear you all ask. Well, she's the courtesy car I have been whizzing about in for the past two days. Yes, you guessed it. I've bought another courtesy car. That'll be the third one now. Cordelia, aka "Lexus Number 7" is an F Sport Takumi. As soon as I sat in her, I thought "Oh, Betsy.....". It's the steering wheel which did it. I've missed grasping Betsy firmly. It's just not quite the same feeling in Tiff. Sorry Love. Cordelia has got all the Takumi things I need. I think it's just the cooled seats and passenger seat memory which is missing up front. All the clever rear seat stuff never got used as I rarely took people in there (you have to earn such privileges you know). I felt that Tiff really needed to go to a family or someone who would get the full enjoyment of all her accouterments. I might be picking Cordelia up on Monday or I might have to wait until Wednesday. Bloody work commitments. As I left after signing the paperwork, I did raise a finger to Johnathan, the Service Manager, insisting that he gave me a Trabant the next time I visited for a service....
  21. My RC-F in Gran Turismo 7 is a beast....
  22. I use Waze for all my journeys and haven't noticed any massive data use.
  23. Oops -sorry!
