    Just to let you all know,the other day my key smashed and feared the worst as it was my only key, BUT,i had an uncut key off ebay for £5,got a transponder FREE of charge from LEXUS DERBY,got it cut in chesterfield for £5,programmed with help from IANS200,new key now locks and starts the car,HAPPY DAYS.Also my old key was terribly put back together but amazingly still starts the car but wont lock it .It looks daft with a hairband holding it all together.

    Rich ,the book says 5w/30 oil, also try one of those magnetic sump plugs ,ive got one and there ok.If the cars using oil try 10w/40 oil.

    Omeo,its easy to drain the fluid by undoing the bolt on the pump,and then top up as normal .

    Noreen,its so easy to wire both heated and electric seats up ,there are threads on here to do both ,thats how i did it .Its the best mod ive done by far.

    Noreen,a lot of care spent yesterday,however can i suggest one thing not associated with this thread,swap the cloth seats for leather ones or half leather ,thats what i did and it is loads better .

    Ian,isnt this the one promoted by Edd Chyna on Wheeler Dealers,if so he used it on an XK8 i think on the show.

    From all the exhausts ive heard ,id still have the hks silent,it sounds right to me for this type of car.

    As Pete says ,theres many on ebay to choose from and in many colours too.Mike ive got a black car and the worst problem is keeping the blooming thing clean.

    This is the first time ive used it Stuart,but the can gives you enough to do 1 full tank of fuel plus a bit more ,so i would now probably do it every 3000 miles or so .Ill see how the car feels,and go by that.

    Matt,last week i used BG44K and ive noticed a slight increase to smoothness and better mpg,it decokes the engine.

    Can i just say if anyone thinks a dash is hard to get out its NOT,i changed mine in 30 mins .Thats after making a mess of trying to paint my old dash in the car .Its awkward access ,better done out of the car.

    Russell,it must be a toyota thing as my daughters celica does the same,and trust me its helped me out of a tricky situation more than once.It makes me smile as its like driving a bus and passengers dont expect it if theyve never been in before.

    No Russell,but there are workshop cds on ebay which are helpful ,but ive seen some previously on ebay america,but are expensive and rare.

    Mate, dont waste your money,the only way for a decent power upgrade is forced induction[supercharger or turbo].

    Im afraid ive got through 6 keys in 7 years,they are not the best .

    The DREADED knock many of us have had,and believe it or not my front calipers needed overhauling and this stopped it straight away.
