    Mate you are looking anywhere between 20 mpg upwards but is your car auto or manual as i get about 28 mpg on my manual ,on a long journey you may get in high 30s mpg and yes the car is steady till the vvti kicks in, then it changes. Remember its only 153 bhp ,if you want power swap it for an is300 or toyota altezza .

    0786ricky2010, mate this bloke sold me a leather interior and has just mailed me about a black is200 sport bodykit 18 inch wheels 1200 quid , when i went last month he also had an is300 sportcross in about 1300 quid contact him if u still need a car

    Nice car mate , but i bet your insurance was a bit steep aged 20 .Good luck with a great and reliable BUT thirsty car. However that is the only problem i bet you get with it.

    John,. the supra was my first choice of car but having a serious back problem its not ideal ,my daughter has a celica vvti and the seats are the same as supra,ie too low and too firm so eventually i will go for an is300 but my is200 has been a great car for last 6 years and i have upgraded an s model to an se model with some sports parts on itJohn as you know its all about the petrol usage.

    My blade length is 37mm on ebay the length of blade will be specified just dont go to the dealers as there are plenty of experts on here mate , but im not one sorry. Ive had 1 key since i had my car nearly 6 years ago , just get a 3 button uncut blade as a spare there are locksmiths who do code it but there are 2 types of transponder if my memory is right

    The reason timpsons are funny is because they once cut a key and were sued by a customer after he said it ruined his car ,although it smells of a bit of bull to me on behalf of the customer.

    Buy a couple of keys mate ,ive got through 4 keys in 6 years its just a weakness in the design thats all . Just swap transponder which is easy .

    Have you got a colour code for the wheels mate ,if so go to a paint shop and ask them to mix you a small pot or aerosol

    jamesy my lexus is year 2000, length of blade is 37mm, some are 39mm and some 41mm. Measure yours, get a key off ebay then let pollards do the rest . Thats where i got mine cut mate keys are cheap enough to buy .

    Mate, there are enough breakers and spare dealers to set you up, i mean ecu, keys and transponder, also there are many expert people on this forum who can be much more helpful than lexus themselves AND MUCH CHEAPER THAN THAT. .Give them a try first

    Mate thats your 3 button master key ,someone has put the transponder in a wrong case and you can buy replacement keys on ebay but check the length of blade before buying a spare as there is a difference .Im sure someone local can cut a key blade i had one cut in chesterfield recently as they have a tendancy to break regularly around where the blade fits into the plastic case

    Jorge, if it was any good mate everyone would buy it . To get 25 bhp you would need to spend a lot of money, if you have the money get it supercharged or swap your car for either a is300 or toyota altezza

    A couple of years ago similar happened to my daughters celica vvti ,it was only the keen eye of a building society clerk that noticed the fake bank transfer. My bank didnot notice it hence to say both we and the bank were very lucky ,my advice bank transfer only NO CHANCE.

    Phil just to let you know if you ever need an auto elect man try kev on this number ,he has PROPER equipment and sorted my coil pack and crank sensor problem charged me 15 quid ,stuff green flag in future 07791993545.He is from matlock area and comes out very quickly

    Phil ive run positive wire thru bulkhead from battery to seat it works fine mate .Yes mine is an s model i bought seats off ebay 0786ricky2010 he has loads on cars and spares and is very helpful also a green is300 sportcross for 1500 quid in good nick.He had a full leather is300 interior for 200 quid mate try him if you need owt
