  1. I noticed in a window reflection that a brake light was out, what a pain to change! but easily done in 5mins.

i also noticed the top of the tail lights is actually just a blank plate! i was thinking of drilling a hole and adding another brake light.

then today i see a white mk2 with the tops of the tail lights lit on!!! is this a mod? or did lexus after 1999 actually use the space on top?

if so anyone know the part number for the harness?

  2. i've found these on eBay.com...

    ebay clicky

they are listed for the is300, but im hoping they will fit the gs300.... can anyone confirm this?

also in the pictures it looks like it has 3 holes for the o2 sensors, so maybe they wont set off the cel light?

trying to remember from the top of my head, are there 2 pre-cats on the standard manifold?

on my previous car i removed the pre-cat leaving the main cat and it passed emissions fine.

has anyone got a manifold on their gs?

    cheers

wonder how low i can go! :winky:

may get it installed tomorrow.... pics to follow if i do !

    watch this space!

  4. L- Tuned <- clicky

they are selling dragon torque converters, which apparenly give more bhp to the wheels.

quote: "The adverage gain on the 9 1/2-inch torque converter series is 2 tenths on 60 foot and up top 3/4 of a second on overall elapsed times in the 1/4 mile. The average horsepower gain is up to 40-50 horsepower to the rear wheels due to the torque multiplication and increased stall speed."

seems to good to be true, if it is, how comes i cant find any info in these forums?

    would it work?

    thanks

  5. i've had my gs300 for 2 weeks now, and visit the pump once a week. i get about 250-290 miles a tank. mixed but more in town than M WAY

but thats with me flooring it every now and then. you cant help but floor it.

the insurance difference for me between 300 and 430 was £10. i did want the 430 but couldnt find one i liked in my budget.

as mine has the sport kit, i can forgive it for not having that extra 80bhp.

    my advice to you.....

    get the 430!
