just incase the lexus part is expensive, call around custom exhaust makers. might turn out cheaper however they will never be able to make it factory quiet, but you can choose the tip! you could come to an agreement with the garage, if your not happy with it, get them to remove it!

thats what i was thinking Tigerfish... i can select L(1), 2,3 and 4. selecting these would mean they wouldnt go over the selected gear. (mine doesnt have overdrive)

maybe its the tyres i have, somtimes its very slipperly even when slightly damp.

this is my first rwd car, had it since Nov'07.

i like my corners, mainly powering through and out of them, however since its an auto when it down changes the rear wheels get kicked out when it down changes followed by fish tailing.

obviously a manual box / tip would solve this, apart from that is there anything that can be done?

after doing a quick research on both cars i'd go with the volvo. both cars have similar power (volvo185 +10hp - 0.2sec faster)

purely on this: volvo have more experience in diesel.

wouldnt help even if you could, as you'll need to get it tfl tested. (wouldnt be worth the hassle)

black cabs block their radiator grills to make the engine run slightly hotter resulting in better mpg. i dont know if that will affect co2 though.

well thats if ken remains in power. in all honesty i dont want to vote for him, but looking at his competition i dont want to vote for them either!!!!

from what i remember merc are to release a diesel in japan. the first diesel to actually meet japans strict emmissions laws (mass sale) as diesels are pretty much unheard of there. (1800 registered in 2006)

The laws in japan ment companys focused on petrol for home land, and diesel outside as laws were not as strict. companies outside japan that want to break into the market have to meet strict laws, so in effect they have had a head start.

i dont know if its the same for our cars, but my dads carina e had a fault code, i joined two terminals in the engine bay, read the flashes and compared to a chart. turned out to be o2 sensor fault.

i hate paypal. somehow a person in usa got into my account and transfered everything out. my paypal account was linked via DD to my bank account. paypal didnt call me to alert me of anything wrong, it just happened that i tried to buy somthing on eBay when it said i had no money. they were no help at all "we suspected somthing hence why we are investigating" as if me calling from uk wasnt enough proof i wasnt in america.

thankfully i called my bank and they pulled the money back. paypal said they were out of pocket and would write it off. this didnt stop them from leaving me a negative balance!!!

its seems like a ***** take but it all works out.

if you work on oxford street you'll get paid £8 per hour'ish depending on store... convert that to $ its $15.45, however they dont actually get paid near that much. probably $6 to $7 depending on state minimum.

also lexus have a production line in the states which lowers cost.

i think you should keep a record everytime he has words with you. build up a case, you never know when you might need it. also whenever he comes out to tell you to move the cars take pictures of the road and cars.

when he asks why are you taking pictures just reply "for the court case"
