theres no way i can get an aristo unless i have one as a second car.(cant afford a 2nd yet)
parking is a nightmare, more green bins than cars sometimes.
personally would love an aristo but it would need to have bog standard suspension... oh and i'd need a morgage for the insurance.

£950 incl vvti controller. however if you want the exhaust cams +£390....
might try and source my own, $480 for 270'degree both inlet + exhaust, wish we had the same prices!

not sure if these are vvti, but i've found another lot that is for the vvti engine (trust me not to save that link)

all my previous cars are jap(bar 1 saab 900) even that had dead locks.
surely the ls has dead locks... it would be like a s class not having air bags!

wow :o
feel like i've been robbed of something that i never had. all my other cars had it, thought it was a standard on jap cars.
-
night shot... not as bright as standard fogs, but they do look nice!!! (obviously they look like led's in person)
-
Sorry if this is a dumb question but have you looked in the manual?
How old is your car? Perhaps early GS cars didn't have deadlocks?
good point actually. i'll have to dig it out once the work in the house is finished, unless someone can check their manual?
i would be gutted if the gs didnt come with deadlocks. mines a 1999 sport

my dads carina eml has been on for 3 years now. nothing wrong at all. pulls fine. my previous primera eml light came on, again nothing wrong at all. the primera i had after that had a light on(caused by head & system).... wanna guess? nothing at all wrong!

damn it 1 minute out

Thats because you are in the car, some how the car knows you are in there and will not activate the deadlocks for safety reasons.
Get out of the car, put one of the windows down, deadlock the car, wait 30secs or so, then try to undo the door by leaning inside the car and using the leaver. you should find the deadlocks are activated.

Isn't the alarm sensing the fob? If you get in and get someone else to lock it from the fob it should work also??
theres a sensor on the seat

Oh my God! You are my hero! I borrowed my son's car today (usually not a thing he lets Mum do!) and of course it had to go berserk on me. The flipping alarm kept going off every time I opened the door. The fob wouldn't work and the ear piercing scream was doing my head in. I searched and found this reply. Followed your instructions and voila! Problem sorted and Mummy's little soldier will never know his Mother almost drove his pride and joy into a flipping wall!
Thank you so much.
he'll know now if he's apart of this club

That does ring a bell actually, now you mention it. On the road maybe, but surely on private land they cant enforce that!
it was on his drive, off the road. i personally would never leave my car running even if i had a remote start or even turbo timer. you'd kick yourself if it went faulty and someone actually nicked it. plus remote start is an easy excuse for insurance comapanies not paying out.

the marks have faded now, but does anyone remember seeing these? after you come out of lime house(east bound) theres another short tunnel after the flyover. they start in there (inside lane) and go all they way to the next speed camera where they stop! they were solid with no stops, a few hairy moments near the kerb though. they are spread quiet wide. when lining my gs with them i was a good half a foot to a foot thinner. also very wide tyres...
could this of been Monster?
been debating with a friend maybe it was a truck that dropped a wheel and when he braked for the camera it released a jammed brake...
-
ahh that might work.
clever cars! on another matter.... when driving during the dark(ish) the lights will automatically come on. but when going through a bright tunnel they stay on? how does the car know i will need them on the other side? the time? (and i mean very bright tunnel)

just heard on the radio.... planned strikes, and something else in scotland thats going to cause a shortage :duh:

i hear that the people who live in northen ireland (near the republic boarder) actually drive down into the republic just for petrol as the savings are huge!
i cant see the price coming down at all. when i first started driving it was 70p per litre.

what shahz says.
remember its illegal to leave the car running without a person in the drivers seat(they must have a valid licence). i remember someone left their car running on their own drive, they got done by the police.
