Loz, on sunday only a few supermarket are open and most of these are only open in the morning. On December all of them are open because of Christmas purchases

You're right Saturday is not a good day, crowd everywhere. Supermarket are closed at least on the afternoon. Some little ones open on the morning. Some car centers are open but around Paris only. French police is going worst and worst. For 40km/h over the limit they can keep the car and your driving license. Fines are from 90€ to 375€ (750 if not paid on time) until 40km/h and 1500€ for 50km/h over the limit. Radar detector are forbidden. If found, they keep the car and your driving license. Welcome in France, country of liberty :shutit:

I had it on my previous car with a straight catback pipe and it did exactly the same : nice noise but you don't get bored with it on the motorway as it is not to noisy. The only problem I had is that rust broke one of the inside soldering points after one year. It made a absolutely not sporty "cling cling" noise.

The Lex is my first rwd car. At the beginning, trac control was always on, now, it is only when the road is wet. As everything, you learn with practice ;) Round-about drifting is soooo fun on private roads off course.

my front tires are only used on the inside and I'm not sure it is only because of the mm eibach springs.

The chrome or glossy paints are never like on the can cover. Chrome always look silver. It is a metallic treatment, paint can't have the same brightness. Lacquer will make it shine more but you will never get the chrome plated aspect

as far as I found, only rear indicators are available. Bulbs types are Philips Silver Vision, OSRAM Diadem and Polarg M series

In France, the only alarm that does it is Beeper Alarm A2001 Boomerang, you can tune it to choose the time that the engine has to run before being turn off when you leave the car. It also automatically closes the doors while driving and shut the windows when you lock the car. It is 455€ without installation (approx. £320)

to make it short, take off the manifolds as precats are on them. Cut the pipe on the cats joints, beware of cutting only the cats, leave the lambda sensors place on the pipe. Then you just have to cut a tube at the right length and solder it where were the precats. Finally put the manifolds back and take care of connecting the lambda sensors simple isn't it ? you only need a TIG, 3ft of steel tube (at the pipe diameter, I haven't measured it) or better stainless tube 13mm keys and a steel saw (don't know the right word )
