I tried to connect it today. Here is what I did :
AFR wire -> ECU wire
12V ignition -> one of the red with blue stripe wires on the connector that has lots of
Ground -> screwed to chassis
-- At this point, the AFR go on when I turn the key and all is ok
Pressure sensor to ecu -> Green + Red stripe (Pin 9, Plug D)
Pressure sensor from ecu -> Green + Red stripe (Pin 9, Plug D)
-- The wire has been cut so the AFR is between the ecu and the sensor
RPM Signal -> Black with White stripe (Pin 23, Plug E)
-- it is said it must be a 5V digital signal
Throttle position sensor signal -> White with Red stripe (Pin 23, Plug D)
The problem is : whatever I connect except vcc and gnd, the engine doesn't start (it does the same thing as if the battery level was too low) As soon as I disconnect the AFR (except 12V and GND), the engine strats with no prob :duh: I checked it at 11.85V
Have I done something wrong ?
The air meter type is selected by a dip switch : Hot Wire (0-5V), Hot Wire (5-0V) , Karmen Vortex or pressure sensor. I tried the four and none of them change anything. I believe it is a pressure sensor on the IS200
