The workshop finally managed to get it sprayed . Doors, bonnet and boot are still missing but the car and the bumpers are done :) Here are some pics :)

No I won't, it is already done in Europe. A Swiss guy has already done it on a Calibra and a French is curently doing a Civic. It no longer is uniqe :P I am only experiencing a non-standard colour for the old shape IS as I did for the yellow/gold :D

I am keeping the car as it was, but the rear lip and the side skirts joint were baly done and the front bumper was not correctly primered the first time so I am having it done properly :) for the colour, it is in my sig

Things are not going as quickly as I hoped but good things com to those who can wait :) The bumpers are primered and the car roof and inside should be painted on monday :)

it might be due to the stainless steel form he OEM muffler. Stainless clicks more than common steel -

What the deal with modded motors in France ← no mod is allowed, some are tolerated .... The law is not clear and it is the police officer that decide wether the mod is illegal or not

I will sell it from March 1st, I need it for the Paris Tuning Show at the end of February, but I will get rid of it after that. I am going to a more discrete look :)

New year is coming :) Time to mod again :P I finally got bored with the gold paint : The paintjob was really badly done and I couldn't stand it anymore. Moreover, the car is absolutely not discrete and is quite known around the place. That is quite not a good thing with a modified engine :( So the car is going to be resprayed, in a confirmed bodyshop this time :) Here are some pics of the work (click to enlarge) :

Hi have Foliatec Lumax Sky in the footwells, it does a blue/white light when the door opens, very usefull tofind the things I can lose under the seat :P It is very thin (half of an inch) so it is not noticeable unless you go under :)

I have these for more than a year. (406 ones in fact :D ) It only improves the look. It is not more effective than the standard ones but cost 4 times more.

Thanks mates, the blue one is one of the very few really modded french IS Lots of rare cars : first IS250, an Aztec Fire IS (5 in France), a sportcross, a supercharged one and two modded ones ;) and very rare in France twin-turbo MKIV Supra with 20" rims The place was very nice, and goes with the Lexus standing :D It was a really fine day except the very cold weather.
