After having done some appearances in the press, my car is finally having a featuring in the biggest french tuning mag. The pics are really nice. I don't have all the pics yet but here are some :)
The noise is quite loud like if something hurts the chassis, it is not a metallic noise.
I rechecked my antiroll bars fixations and all is ok but I have noticed this : the bars have marks and there is some red on the edge of the chassis part. Could it be this ? I can't figure how it can occur, the car is very stiff.
Yes but I was not sure about TRD bushes delivery date and availability and I don't have the tools to take the old bush out :(
I just checked the steering and all is fine.
I have just changed the 2 bars :
The bush was not dead, just cut on a little part. And the worst is that the knocking nois is still there.
I can't find where it comes from :( I checked both front and rear bushesand none is destroyed.
A friend of mine told me it could be the steering , it seemed to happen on renault 21 turbo. I will try to look at that tommorrow if it does not rain
Tanabe chassis braces, rear strut bar, and I used to have front strut bar before I install the supercharger.
I have Hotchkiss sway bars set to the stiffest, KW coilovers set low and stiff (80% of the max).
I would like to change the standard air filter of the supercharger by a K&N type one.
I searched on K&N website with the dimensions but I can not find any matching ref.
As anyone a maker / part number for sucha filter ?
For a week now, I have started to hear a knocking noise on the right front side.
It is happening more and more on road bumps and turns.
I lift the car this morning and noticed this :
Can I change just the bearing or do I have to change the whole arm ?
How dangerous is it to drive with this ?
It's been a while I heard a metallic noise when reving the engine.
I finally found where it come from :
The car is still running fine but the belt is no longer tightly placed :(
Should I weld it back on or should I remove completely the bracket ?
my roadbook may not be up to date, it tells me to leave the M20 to go by M26 at Addington then leave the M26 10 miles away at Chevening to go onto M25
the estimated time is at speed limits, but I think I will take a lot less time to do it
I should leave Folkestone at about 2:50AM :P, I don't know how many time it should take for me to come
It looks like it should take 1h30 to reache the M26 to M25 junction so should arrive up there at 4:30
My way is Folkestone > M20 > M26 > M25 > M4
