  1. I have a mate in France that runs 20" with air suspension and it looks better than this one IMO :
  2. Have you checked through the OBDII if there is anything wrong ? I have seen on the main thread you destroyed the lambda sensor. If one of the manifold sensor is broken, it will not start, it did it on mine
  3. the Altezza RS200 has the 3S-GE engine not the 3S-GTE that is turboed and has stronger internals
  4. Is Bluewater the big shopping center near Dartford Crossing ? If I am not in France this week-end, I would come, it is not far away :)
  5. too late for today I think, I only get a red cross :(
  6. Thales? I live next to Crawley. There's a few performance shops in crawley, but nothing I know of that's jap oriented. Austec are good for tvr, but very expensive. There's a porsche place too. G yes I have spotted the Porsche one in Manor Royal, there is also a Porsche restoration one in Gatwick Road. I am looking for bodyshops at the mo to respray my standard bumper. I will try Customize at 3 Bridges. Thanks mate, housing is already sorted :) Thanks :)
  7. nice to see it is finally going on :)
  8. yep since January and for 3 years :)
  9. Sorry to hear that mate, I have no clue in the way to sort this out
  10. I have KW Variant 3 ones and I am very pleased, I have not felt a big comfort loss whereas I have set them at -60mm with 75% stiffness. They are perfect for road use, not sure they are stiff enough for track though
  11. Here is where I bought mine
  12. none unfortunately :( I'm sure Bazza got the Cusco to fit, with a little work. Bazza has the induction kit ;) and yes the Cusco has needed a slight modification to fit with the induction kit
  13. same for me dba golds and mintex pads for 2 years now, no complaint, but I have felt no difference with the standard ones
  14. Good luck mate and don't hesitate to ask if you need an hand, I have bring some stuff with me ;)
  15. I have the old black ECU aswell, I had quite the same problem the last month, the car couldn't rev higher than 1000rpm until I disconnect the battery for at least 1 minute. TTE suggested to disconnect the TTE ECU, and it works fine since then. They did not send me a new one.
  16. Have you already looked at it ? If no, I would be really interested if you could do so :) Thanks in advance
  17. very tempting at this price :o just have to check how much would be the insurance
  18. Yep, these are reflective plates. On legal plates, the background film (white or yellow) has reflective pigments and the black film used for the letters is flat black so that with a flash the background illuminates and you can see the numbers more accurately. On these plates, the black film has the same reflective pigments as the background
  19. I would prefer to keep it registered and insured in France as it would be far cheaper for me, but I assume that as long as I am living in the UK I will have to get it registered here :( I think it is illegal aswell but just wanted to be sure of the risk I take by having them on
  20. going a bit off topic from the original post but I will have a UK license and as far as I know, there is no insurance that will consider that I have been driving for 9 years to quote the premium :( as I have not been a registered driver in the UK before
  21. I have 2 questions about reg plates. My car is still registered in France so it has french plates on. Is there a time limit for me to get UK plates or am I allowed to keep it registered in France ? Are reflective plates street legal in UK (plates that become blank when shot with flash) Thanks :)
  22. No mate, you only have to tell the insurance all the mods. As for the car certificate, or the V5 as it's known in the UK, you only have to update that if you change the colour of the car or dramatically modify the car, ie change the number of doors or wheels! They're not interested in things like modifications, it's a lot easier when you're over here mate, don't have to worry about TUV or anything like that :winky: thanks Aido :) Indeed, it makes it much easier to modify cars. Unfortunately as I have a foreign driving license it will make my insurance very expensive :(
  23. I am not aware of UK laws on car mods. I understand you have to tell you insurance every mod you do to the car and each mod increase your insurance price. Do you have to tell the Ministry of Transport aswell ? Has it to be written on your car certificate ?
  24. glad that you finally got out. You just have to rest now and take care :)
