  1. Yes the car is french and yes it is illegal in France to modify the engine. Modifying a car is not allowed, but it is not strictly forbidden. The only thing that is illegal is engine modification. I have always have had modded cars and I drove in France for nearly 2 years with the SC, I never had any problem with the police as I am always polite and drives carefully in town. Each time I have been arrested, it was just because they wanted to look at the car :P For the Tshirts, have a look here ;) The orange one is a NSX the yellow one is a Diablo yes, only the HKS V Pro to manage them, the car is running rich at the moment so it seems not to be a problem
  2. Thanks :) Lee, Yes it is the Katana intercooler, here are more pics ;)
  3. Thanks :) For the fuel consumption, I think it has something to do with a lambda sensor that has been changed. The figures I had last year were 113.5kW which is about 155.5 hp at the wheels with the 19", it was on a rolling road dyno so the power output may have been lower that it really was
  4. Well, 6 monthes ago, I said I would not do anymore modification to the IS as I wanted to get another car. Unfortunately, I have moved to the car modification paradise, UK that is. Temptation was too strong and as you may have seen on the forum, my car has spent some time at TDi for a little performance improvement. I finally managed to get some pictures :) First step : Katana manifold heat wrapped. The HKS FCON V Pro harness being built : HKS 500cc injectors Stage 1 TDi pulley finally removed. Boost pressure sensor Intake temperature sensor Top of the Katana intercooler from the grill Katana intercooler bracket In the workshop HKS FCON V Pro and PE Camcon in the glove box HKS Silent HiPower, very low :) Finished And here is the dyno result After having driven it for about 600miles, I can say that the car pulls really more. My fuel consumption has dropped a lot, I am really pleased with that. I think there is still not enough "humpf" so I may get some more work done. I just can't wait to see w481gcc results to know if I go for the same setup when my wallet has recovered its health :)
  5. best width for 7.5 rims is 225mm but 215 and 235 will fit aswell
  6. No difference felt but I think it is better for the engine as it is more stressed now
  7. I used to use Castrol Magnatec 5w30 which is what the dealer used to give me. I have changed the oil and filters on Sat and put Castrol RS 0w40 now.
  8. Good Year F1 GS-D3, I have them on all my wheel sets and they are brilliant
  9. Well, I have not been able to really test mine since last week, and I have had the Katana manifold fitted aswell as the intercooler. My impression so far, the car seems to pull more and the dyno shows a 30hp improvement at the hubs. I should get new tyres fitted tommorrow so I will be able to test drive it this weekend and post my impressions and some pictures
  10. I don't think it is necessary even with the standard bumper, it sits as the TTE one on mine, it is just higher and goes behind the crash bar.
  11. I don't understand any phrase
  12. I am really giutted to not have been able to comme :( It looks like there were some very nice cars. Dave, the Aristo is very nice with the bumper and the new wheels, I love the way it looks with the BBK.
  13. I'm glad for you it has finally started :) Don't worry for the CEL, mine comes on now and then since I removed the main cat 3 years ago. The car is still working so far, just need to disconnect the battery for 30seconds and it goes off :)
