  1. Wow! But it still needs the Lexus badge at the front please!
  2. I might be being very judgemental here but nice people seem to change when they get inside a BMW. It is rumoured, but not proven, that BMW place a special type of "Nerve Gas" (Called Sodeverybodyelseontheroad) in the air con pollen filters. Audi have now cottoned on to this and their drivers are also being affected. You should only trust BMW drivers if they are wearing a gas mask!
  3. I don't blame you!
  4. If you ran an old Jeep Cherokee that was lifted with steel bumpers you would not get a scratch! Don't ask me why?
  5. Wow! You could not have picked a better day! She looks superb! I still think it a pity you took off the Lexus badge! Well done!
  6. Where was this photo taken out of interest? I love the idea of just driving off into the night and arriving at dawn. I am very envious!
  7. Very interesting video - never heard of him but he seems a genuine guy.
  8. Thanks for the advice, I will disconnect the terminal next time. Really pleased it seems to be sorted - fingers crossed!
  9. Thanks Paul, it is a great relief. No I did not disconnect the battery but interesting what you said about taking out the fuse, re-setting. The "Self-Fixing" is only available on the LS 400 I am afraid!
  10. IMPORTANT UPDATE GUYS! MY LS400 HAS REPAIRED ITSELF! No kidding! ALL WORKING! THESE ARE JUST AMAZING CARS! PEEPS DON'T BELIEVE YOU! To be honest I think Steve solved the problem when he said it was the MBX fuse. I took it out, tested it put it back but nothing seemed to work. Went to take the key out of the ignition and the steering wheel moved! Central locking and all windows now work! I am a little perplexed why it did not work straight away! Many thanks guys for all your advice! I was thinking about an expensive trip to Lexus in the end result.
  11. Thanks Steve! The MPX-B 10A fuse, on my Lexus, is located in the engine bay fuse box but it is fine! My gut feeling is that the circuit board or the connection to the drivers panel switches have failed. My next step is to take off the panel switch (with care!) to see if it is the connection as suggested by Colin. If that seems fine then it might be the door ECU - buy one from ebay and try it - around £30. Got to be worth a punt. Thanks for the advice chaps! Will let you know how I get on! Any tips for taking out the switch panel? Lever very carefully?
  12. I will check all the fuses tomorrow. I changed the DFR Door fuse but no luck. Many thanks for the advice - will also put the battery on charge - thanks Mark.
  13. Thanks Colin, will try that fuse. Funny how the driver's door switch still works for the window but not the others? No idea where the fuse for the central locking might be? Battery seems fine - starts - no labouring on turn-over. I might wait for it to repair itself! LOL!
  14. Hi Guys! Hope someone can suggest something here. On the driver's door panel - only the driver's window switch works. The other three are dead. All windows work from their individual switches on the doors. Central locking no longer works (on the drivers panel and the key). The steering wheel does not actuate when the ignition key is put in place. The steering motors work from the knob on the steering column. I have located the internal fuse box but I am baffled by which fuse might be the problem? Any suggestions most welcome as I can't lock the car at this time! PWR-1G? P RR Door? D RR Door? Could it be a fuse in the engine bay?
  15. Where would you use it was my question. When they are imported does the plate usually come with them? Or is that a lucky bonus?
  16. That was my next question!
  17. I love the last two night-time shots! Where were they taken? What a difference you have made to that car! I am not keen on the lowering but hats of to you! Well done!

  19. So does the Queen but I would not want to ride her!
  20. Shift to a Range Rover? Really? Have you not considered the RX? There is a good YouTube clip of an American guy who bought a Range |Rover. Apparently they can take out what is described as "Bumper to Bumper" Warranty. My goodness he got value from the policy!
  21. My drive is flat, so I do not leave the parking brake on overnight. This is particularly the case in the winter, as the car might not be used for a few days and the linings could seize up. The less the foot brake is used, the less stretch on the cable is my thoughts? I do use the brake to keep it moving. I apply the foot brake when parked away from home and ALWAYS if the car is on a slope. Others may have a different opinion.
  22. Some people are seduced by the Dark Side!
