what does ET mean? also will i need to fit coilovers to put 19's on or will they fit on without messing with the suspention#??
Its on the inside of the wheel, stamped into the alloy, also sometimes called off-set, its how far you wheel sits from your hub, if you get the wrong ET you wheel will rub on your wheel arch, not good.
You dont need to change anything to put 19inch alloys on your car, just get the correct size of wheel.
eg. 19inch, 8.5J, ET48, should fit your car ok. 19inch, 9.5J, ET40 will not if your car.
sound good, will it look like its on stilts if i dont lower it though? also on the sticky wheel guide it says offset is 45 not 48 :o im confused now ?
thanks for the help

They have 235/35/19 tyres on but not sure of rim width,
apparently no scrubbing etc.
I'll let you know how they go on mine :winky:
he got it lowed? i was looking today, and the arm which holds the brake disc in place looks a little close to the tyre already? found some alloys i like on the internet anyways :) just wanna make sure for definate theres not gonna be any scrubbing, like while driving i know alot of people who say theres no scrubbing with their wheels, but put 2+ passengers in and go a corner faster than a pensioner then it scrubs =/ i want to be able to go round that corner as fast as i wanted to
thanks for the help so far :)
