So velocity took over and within a season lost the biggest asset to the show. Ed will move on to new things and be good at whatever he tries. Mike on the other hand is hoping ant anstead can step into eds shoes and velocity keep the show going . It will never be the same though.

Its better since clarkson killed it. Old format was about the old 3 bigging thenselves up. New format is more about the cars and it seems to be getting better. Personally i think evans should have been given more of a run yes he shouted a bit but needed to settle in.

On a separate but related theme, my previous car was cam equipped and i reviewed the recorded material again not to catch anyone out but just out of interest. The guy swore like a trooper, fine. Slagged off my rear aftermarket tinted windows, fine i had kids in car and shaded them in summer. Saw car go to wash n vac area after service and although fine i will request not to be valeted in future as these guys work to a timescale not a quality scale but within reason fine. It was only then i realised part of the service was a roadtest, guess what? The car never left the site. I brought thus to attention of the service manager who first said the roadtest was not part of the service then as i showed him the ticked box on service sheet for roadtest he then went on to say the mechanic used the wrong service sheet. At this point id lost confidence in what should have happened and what did. Vw uk website shows a roadtest as part of the service so i was lied to. I now have the lexus and expect i better level of service. September will tell.

As a member on here and on the facebook page there are no such rules on fb. Abide by the rules here as by joining you agree to them and if your selling your car and not a member jusr post it to the fb page. Im sure word would get around.

Thankyou, i love it. The only downside is being current there is no need to tinker or fix things lol. Its just clean it and put petrol in. I do see myself back in an Ls at some point in the future. This one is fine for now

Can anyone recomend a decent quality car seat cover please? I use an old black nylon cover with a vw logo at the moment 4days a week on commuting duties but its about dead. I just want something i can slip over and remove easy. Searched ebay and there all cheapy rubbish from hongkong or the like. any recomendations...

Hi, never heard of this or any issues with mine. Have you had chance to carry a passenger? I mean if they get it too it could be something off with the car but if its just you then as you say it may be a specific thing relating to the hybrid style.

Mine has yokies from new and thought manufacturers would stick to more mature brands. Ill change over when needed but thats a long way off. I find the car very quiet only really noticing road noise from 50+ ish.
