  1. You can get back boxes off ebay for about £100 per side. There is also a company advertising on ebay who will make a custom cat back exhaust for £299. Plus of course there are the places mentioned in this thread already. p.s. where is it blowing?
  2. For extra info, the offset for mk1 Sport 18x8" front wheels is 40, and for the 18x10" rears is 46. The front tyres are 245/45/18, the rears 275/35/18. The link below is too an offset calculator, so you can enter the above info, then the new wheel info, and it will tell you how the new combo will sit compared to the old. I have the above wheels on my 1999 GS300 Sport and they fit spot on. Click here
  3. I kinda assumed it was for all 4? obviously not, are they different? They could all be the same, but you would need to make sure so that it can be calculated correctly if they will fit.
  4. That looks very sharp Andy, a very nice job. I'm a big fan of subtlety (as I'm doing on my GS), and your LS carries it off nicely.
  5. Are you sure? On my mk1 and mk2 GS's it would up the blower speed, which makes sense to demist. Would seem odd that Lexus would deliberately make the function half pointless by not changing fan speed. i.e. The usefulness of the button is a single press to clear the screen.
  6. Maybe a loose engine cover or undertray? LOL, my undertray didnt make a flapping noise until 80+ :winky: scared the hell outa the wife Andy
  7. Spot on bob, theres some on e-bay, is £60 a good price? the link in Paulos post above is for a complete key (including the remote gubbins inside) - for £46.
  8. It is also possible the lights dropping out was a sign of the controllers failing already. Did the replacement bulbs come from Lexus?
  9. Welcome to LOC Car looks nice, and the best colour too ;)
  10. Thanks Dave yeah, must admit, I was unsure about the eyebrows myself. Theres not a huge amount you can do with the front, so i went for it anyway. I ordered the carbon fibre ones in the end rather than the unpainted grp ones, as I though if I didn't like them in carbon, I could always paint them, if I still didn't like them I could ditch them. As it happens, I do actually like them. The roof spoiler I was very pleased with, well worth the money, especially as it came painted as well. The new rear light clusters and fogs are a nice deep red too, which looks really nice against the blue I think. @ Dave1. Watch this space, I have two spare sets of mk1 Sport wheels, both sets with the 10" rears. Once I've finished messing with them, at least 1 set will go up for sale.
  11. Over the last couple of months I've been getting a few bits and pieces together to individualise the GS a little. Hopefully fairly subtle. This is it so far....
  12. Looks like a very good job they did with them :)
  13. I'm not sure why Duncan is trying to give lessons in civility, with postings like "arrant nonsense" at someone with a differing opinion, the expression "Pot and kettle" springs to mind.
  14. Sounds like you are going over the speed bump fast enough for the wheel(s) to leave the ground. The abs is kicking in as the airbourne wheels have locked up.
